Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – I Will Lead You to Your Quiet Place
We began the week seeing how God has promised to lead us to a quiet place where we can rest in Him. God won’t force you to follow Him; He won’t force you to rest in Him. Instead, you must willingly follow Him to your place of rest and peace.
Here’s the promise.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. – Psalm 23:2
Make these confessions.
- My Great Shepherd is watching over me today.
- He is leading me to a place of rest and provision.
- I trust Him to care for and protect me.
- Today, He is providing for my every need.
- He is leading me to quiet places amid the chaos of life.
- In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Today, allow the great shepherd to take you to a place of peace and rest. No matter what you are facing, God promises rest.
Tuesday – You Will Bear Spiritual Fruit
On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that those who make God’s word the focus of their lives would produce spiritual fruit.
Here’s the promise.
But His delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law He meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. – Psalm 1:2-3
Make these confessions.
- I am a fruitful Christian.
- God is growing the fruit of the Spirit in me.
- God is using me to expand His Kingdom.
- The fruit of my life are the changed lives of those around me.
- I produce spiritual fruit according to God’s schedule.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Spiritual fruit is an indication of our spiritual health. God promises we will be fruitful as you delight in His word.
Wednesday – You Are More Than a Conqueror
Midway through the week, we celebrated our victory in Christ.
Because of God’s love, we are more than conquerors. We have victory over every temptation and spiritual assault through the power of Christ in us.
Here’s the promise.
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. – Romans 8:37
Make these confessions.
- In Jesus Christ, I have overwhelming victory.
- I don’t fear death because Jesus conquered it.
- I have victory over fear, worry, and temptation.
- I overcome every attack of Satan through Christ in me.
- Jesus empowers and fills me with His Spirit.
- Today, I am more than a conqueror.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Today, live in the overwhelming victory Jesus gives you.
Thursday – You Have the Holy Spirit.
On Thursday, we saw that the grandstands of heaven are full of those who have gone before us. They cheer us on to run the spiritual race. They encourage us to be all God has called us to be.
Here’s the promise.
Therefore, since we have so great a cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us also lay aside every encumbrance and the sin which so easily entangles us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. – Hebrews 12:1
Make these confessions.
- Today, I run my spiritual race with passion.
- Those who have gone before me are cheering me on to victory.
- I will not give up, give in, or give out.
- I run with my eyes focused on Christ.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Do you feel like giving up? Those who have gone before you are cheering you on to go deeper and further for Christ.
Friday – You Have Divinely Empowered Weapons.
We ended the week by discovering that we have divinely empowered spiritual weapons. These divinely empowered weapons destroy the strongholds and fortresses of Satan and his kingdom in your life.
Here’s the promise.
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. – 2 Corinthians 10:3-4
Make these confessions.
- A spiritual war is waging all around me.
- Even though Satan will do everything He can to destroy me,
- Jesus has given me spiritual weapons for the battle.
- My weapons are divinely empowered.
- I have victory over the enemy through the spiritual weapons Christ has given me.
In Jesus’ Name,
Amen
Don’t let the battle go unchecked. Instead, use the spiritual weapons God has given you. You can use these divinely empowered weapons to wage war against the powers of darkness that come against you today.
That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
