Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – I Am Blessed by God
We began the week seeing how we are blessed by God. To be blessed by God is to walk in the favor of God. God has given us every spiritual blessing in Jesus.
Here’s the promise.
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. – Ephesians 1:3
Make these confessions.
- God has blessed me with every spiritual blessing.
- I don’t have to wait for heaven to experience the blessing of God.
- The Holy Spirit is blessing me today.
- I walk in the blessing and favor of God.
In Jesus Name,

If you are facing a difficult time, remember you are blessed by the Lord Jesus. You walk in every spiritual blessing available. You can face your darkest days because you are blessed by God.
Tuesday – I Am Created in the Image of God
On Tuesday, we celebrated the promise that we are made in the image of God. God has put eternity in our hearts and made us to be reflections of Him. In doing so we bring glory and honor to God.
Here’s the promise.
So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. – Genesis 1:27
Makes these confessions.
- I am created by God.
- I am made in His image.
- I may be marred by sin, but God’s image is in me.
- I am a reflection of the great, creative God.
In Jesus Name,

You are not an accident. God created you in His image with a purpose in mind. You bring glory to God when you live as the person God created you to be.
Wednesday – The Holy Spirit Lives in Me
Midway through the week, we discovered that the Holy Spirit literally dwells within us. Therefore, everything God is doing in our lives is through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Here’s the promise.
Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. – John 7:39
Make these confessions.
- I have the Holy Spirit dwelling in me.
- I have the fruit of the Spirit growing in me.
- I am empowered to be a witness for Christ.
- The Holy Spirit convicts me of sin so I can walk in obedience to Christ.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Everything God is doing in the world today, He is doing through His Holy Spirit. That same Spirit dwells within you today.
Thursday – God’s Lovingkindness Flows Over Me
On Thursday, we learned of God’s incredible commitment love toward us. He overflows with lovingkindness to you and me.
Here’s the promise.
The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. – Psalm 103:8
Make these confessions.
- God’s lovingkindness is poured over me today.
- I cannot go beyond his love and grace for me.
- He calls me back when I am disobedient.
- He is ready with love, mercy, and grace to meet my every need.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
No matter where you are with the Lord today, His lovingkindness is pouring over you. You cannot fall far enough that His lovingkindness won’t reach down and pull you up.
Friday – God Leads Me to Quiet Places
We ended the week with the promise of God’s quiet places. In a world of chaos, fear, and stress, God promises to lead us to a quiet place of rest and peace.
Here’s the promise.
He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. – Psalm 23:2
Make these confessions.
- My Good Shepherd is watching over me today.
- He is leading me to a place of rest and provision.
- I trust Him to care for and protect me.
- He is providing for my every need today.
- He is leading me to quiet places amidst the chaos of life.
In Jesus Name,
Amen
Today, allow the great shepherd to take you to a place of peace and rest. No matter what you are facing, God promises rest.

Verse? The Holy Spirit convicts me of sin so I can walk in obedience to Christ. Conviction carries with it condemnation. Romans 8:1 says there is no condemnation for those in Christ Jesus. Al Mohler said a better word to use would be confronts me.
John 16:18 Convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment. I don’t think conviction necessarily requires condemnation Conviction of sin says you have sinned, but you can repent and be restored. Condemnation says, you have sinned and there is nothing you can do to change it. Confront is a good word as well.
