This Week’s Promises

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – God Fights for You
We began the week by seeing how God fights for us. Just as God fought for the Children of Israel, He fights for you in battles you face.
Here’s the promise.
For the Lord your God is the one who goes with you to fight for you against your enemies to give you victory. – Deuteronomy 20:4
Make these confessions.
- Every battle I face is a spiritual battle.
- As I face every battle, God is with me and in me.
- It’s not about my strength, but God’s strength in me.
- God fights my battles for me and always brings me victory.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
You never face a battle alone. God is with you and fights your battles for you. He promises to save you from every enemy.
Tuesday – God’s Favor Lasts Forever
On Tuesday, we discovered that God’s favor lasts a lifetime. God’s favor is His grace working in your life. You can’t earn His favor. It is a free gift of grace.
Here’s the promise.
For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. – Psalm 30:5
Make these confessions.
- I live in God’s favor and blessing.
- God renews His favor toward me every morning.
- I don’t deserve His favor, but He gives it freely.
- I will never outlive God’s favor on me.
- Every blessing is evidence of God’s favor in my life.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
Because you are His child, you can never deplete the favor of God. His favor will be renewed in your life until you close your eyes and see Him face-to-face.
Wednesday – My Sheep Hear My Voice
Midway through the week, we were reminded that Jesus is our Good Shepherd. Jesus knows us by name and understands our every need. We hear His voice and follow wherever He leads.
Here’s the promise.
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. – John 10:27
Make these confessions.
- Jesus knows me by name.
- I hear and recognize the voice of God.
- I will never be ignored or forgotten by the Father.
- I follow Jesus wherever He leads.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
As the Good Shepherd, Jesus knows you by name. He knows your needs, and you hear His voice. As a Christian, you follow Christ wherever He leads.
Thursday – Choose Joy
On Thursday, we discovered that the Christian life is full of joy. God commands us to rejoice always. Because we know God is in control, we can rejoice no matter what we are going through.
Here’s the promise.
Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! – Philippians 4:4
Make these confessions.
- Today, I choose to rejoice.
- The Holy Spirit is producing joy in my life.
- My joy is not dependent on my circumstance.
- I rejoice as a confession of God’s goodness and care for me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
God commands you to rejoice. That may seem hard at times, but the Holy Spirit fills you with supernatural joy when you choose to rejoice.
Friday – Jesus Wants to Dine With You
We finished the week, seeing how God knows our needs even before we pray. We don’t have to pray long or sound spiritual for God to hear us.
Here’s the promise.
And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. – Matthew 6:7-8
Make these confessions.
- I pray simply and with a sincere heart.
- God knows my need before I even ask.
- As a loving Father, He wants to meet my needs.
- When I pray, I simply talk to my Heavenly Father.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated. Your prayers don’t have to be long or fancy. Besides, God already knows what you need before you even ask.

Presently,I request everyone reading this text to pray for my son,D.Rufus Abishai.
He is waiting for his VISA to study in UK.It was a hard timw e for us since a year.
The Thursday promise was especially meaningful. Life is full of ups and downs…. Sometimes we are happy and at other times sad. But we can choose to be joyful despite our problems.. As Christians we should understand that God is always in control, by this we will be joyful because we are not alone in this world.
