The Blood of Jesus Brings Forgiveness
And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins.

Jesus Brings Forgiveness
The blood of Jesus brings forgiveness from every sin. Through Christ, you are forgiven.
The night before His crucifixion, Jesus gathered the disciples to observe the Passover meal. During the meal, Jesus raised a cup and stated that His blood would bring forgiveness of sin and bridge the gap between God and man.
Your Sn Debt
Each of us carries a sin debt against God. The Bible says we all have sinned. (Romans 3:23) That sin debt separates us from God and condemns us to an eternity away from His presence. When Jesus died on the cross, He paid the price for our sin and canceled our sin debt.
The good news of the Gospel is that our sin debt has been forgiven. Imagine discovering a way for a person’s debts to be forgiven. What if you learned a way for every credit card, car, or student loan to be erased? That would be incredible news, and you would share it with everyone you know.
Sin, Guilt, and Shame
The wonderful message of the cross is that a person’s sin, guilt, and shame can be removed.
Because Jesus died on the cross, the shame and guilt of your past have been erased. His blood removed the barrier between you and God. You no longer have to carry the weight and regret of your sin. God placed your sin on Jesus, and He paid you sin debt. Because your sin has been forgiven, you have a new and unhindered relationship with God.
Through faith in Christ, you now live free from the debt of your sin.
Look at the promise again.
And when He had taken a cup and given thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you; for this is My blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for forgiveness of sins. – Matthew 26:27-28
Make these confessions.
- The blood of Jesus canceled my sin debt.
- The blood of Jesus has removed my guilt, shame, and regret.
- When Jesus died on the cross, He forgave my sin.
- Now, there is no barrier between God and me.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen
When you came to faith in Christ, your sin debt was paid. The sin that separated you from God is gone. The blood of Jesus lets you stand before God blameless.
