You Have Victory in Christ
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.
Romans 8:37
Because of God’s love, you are more than a conqueror. You have victory over every temptation and spiritual assault through the power of Christ in you.
More than a Conqueror
God promises no matter what comes into your life. You have victory through Christ; not just victory, but overwhelming victory through Christ in you. Sometimes, the enemy comes against you and tries to make your life difficult. However, you will not fear or worry because you know that through Christ, you will always overcome.
Every day, you enter a spiritual battle. You face enemies of various kinds. Some strong, some small, and some frightening, but in Jesus Christ, you overcome them all.
The greatest enemy is death. So many people fear death. They go to the gym, eat healthily, and hope to delay death as long as possible. For the Christian, there is no fear of death. Christ conquered death on the cross and gave you eternal life. You have victory over death because Christ has given you eternal life. Why fear death when it is just the doorway into the eternal presence of Christ?
You Have Victory
You have victory over sin because Christ has set you free from the power and penalty of sin. Because He has set you free, you have victory over the old habits and temptations that once held you down.
You have victory over the powers of darkness that come against you. As a member of God’s army, you wage war against the darkness. Through Christ, you conquer every enemy in the kingdom of darkness. Every day you gain victory in your life through the power of the Holy Spirit in you.
You are victorious in every area of your life because the Holy Spirit fills and empowers you. Day-to-day victories are won because Christ lives in you. Moment by moment, the Holy Spirit guides, fills, and strengthens you. You have the mind of Christ and the power of Christ living in you.
No matter what the enemy throws at you today, you have victory. The one who loves you completely makes you a conqueror in every area of life.
Look at that verse once again.
But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. – Romans 8:37
Make these confessions.
- In Jesus Christ, I have overwhelming victory.
- I don’t fear death because Jesus conquered it.
- I have victory over fear, worry, and temptation.
- I overcome every attack of Satan through Christ in me.
- Jesus empowers and fills me with His Spirit.
- Today, I am more than a conqueror.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
A major prayer request!!! I’ve been in the longest, most difficult season of my life for more than a year battling with the Lord by my side with depression and anxiety because my medication stopped being effective, a long with 5 months of weening/tapering off a horribly addictive medication that I was lied too about being addictive. It has also been a product of big pharma misrepresenting the med.!
I’ve finally discovered the actual root cause of my depression and will be tackling the healing in my mind and body via functional/integrative medicine!!!
This next step will be a huge challenge as well, especially at my age of 71!!! I believe and trust God to walk or carry me across the finish line with the leading of the Holy Spirit!!! Jesus has the power to do it! His will be done!
