Today’s Promise
Nothing Can Separate Me From God’s Love
Romans 8:38-39
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Just before this promise, Paul asks the question, “who can separate us from the love of Christ. He answers that question with this promise; nothing can separate us.
We all go through times when we feel as though God may have forgotten about us.
When a pink slip arrives at your desk unexpectedly, and you have to find a new job, you may feel God forgot about you. When a relationship falls apart, or you receive a bad report from the Doctor, it’s easy to think that God must be a million miles away. Even on those days when the pressures and stresses of life seem to swallow you alive, you can forget that God is with you.
This promise reminds you that nothing can separate you from the Love of Christ. No matter what situation you face today, Christ is right there in the middle of it with you. You may not feel like it, but trust me, He is there.
The Apostle Paul went through many days of discouragement, and trial. There were constant attempts on his life, and he spent some pretty long days in a dark, smelly Roman prison. But through it all, Paul understood that none of that could keep him from the love of Christ.
Nothing can separate you from the love of Christ.
Not the problems you are facing today, or the pressures you feel all around you. You can come to Christ and find strength, peace, and rest. His love can flow over you and refresh your spirit. Even in times of rebellion and sin, God’s love still calls you back to Him.
Look at that promise again.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. – Romans 8:38-39
Make this confession.
Nothing can separate me from the love of Christ.
No matter what situation I am in, Jesus still loves me.
Even my own sin and rebellion can’t keep me from the love of Jesus.
Today, I live in the complete love of Christ.
In Jesus Name,
Amen.

Good evening, i have been married for 7 years now and my marriage has up and downs, my husband cheats, sleeps around not just with one person but i have lost count, there has never been a year that went by without my husband committing these acts. I used to argue and fight, cry and i forgive and continue being the loving wife i can be, we have a daughter and a son, which i delivered through caesarean. I keep myself strong for my babies but am just tired of trying to keep this sinking ship together. My husband is very jealous i don’t even have friends, he accuses me of cheating, but God is my witness i have never even thought of another man, he always look for evidence of me being unfaithful to him, one time he came around 2h00am in the morning, i was fast asleep kicked my door open, poured me with 20litre of water, kicked me in the stomach push me down, got in his car and drove away. He doesn’t even apologize for the things he does do me. At this moment we live like room mates, we have no intimacy, i cook, clean, give him food, thats it, the last time he went away with work for 3 weeks, when he came back he didn’t even talk to me, i don’t really care about saving my marriage i have no hope, i feel trap, i am suffocating, we sleep in the same bed but each one with their blankets. I want out, am just done. I dont hate my husband but i don’t want him anymore. I want peace
I am praying for the supernatural Power of God to come into your heart and home. And for a revelation of His Love towards you!!! Help our unbelief and shower us with your Goodness!!!!
Hey Billy,
I have been going through a rough time this past year. My wife has divorced me and I have felt at many times that I was left all alone. I know that Christ has been carrying me through this very difficult time otherwise I would have probably fell back into my own sinful ways. It’s been hard recognizing some of the failures in my marriage have been my own doing, not honoring and loving my wife the way Christ has called me to do. He has been teaching me a lot through this, I could of never imagined the pain that this journey has been. I try to remember that He is always with me and that His mercies are new everyday. I want to thank you for your ministry and faithfulness to Him that you keep sharing the Good News. It has carried me through many rough days. Please pray for my situation. To Jesus be all the glory. Keep it up brother.
Your brother Bill
