Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – God Promises Wisdom

We began the week by seeing how God stores up wisdom for those who seek Him. Wisdom is the ability to make good choices that bring about success. Wisdom is applying the truth of God’s word into your daily activities.

True wisdom comes only from the Lord.

Here’s the promise

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding; he stores up sound wisdom for the upright; he is a shield to those who walk in integrity. – Proverbs 2:6-7

Make these confessions.
  • Wisdom only comes from the hand of God.
  • When I seek the Lord, I find wisdom.
  • God has wisdom stored up for me.
  • Wisdom is a shield about me protecting me from foolish choices.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The book of James tells us to ask God for wisdom. Why not make asking for wisdom part of your daily prayer life? God gives wisdom freely to all who ask.

Tuesday – When I am Weak, He is Strong

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that when we are weak, through Christ, we are strong. We can celebrate our weakness because we know God uses the weak and flawed to do great things for His kingdom.

Here’s the promise.

For the sake of Christ, then, I am content with weaknesses, insults, hardships, persecutions, and calamities. For when I am weak, then I am strong. – 2 Corinthians 12:10

Make these confessions.
  • God uses weak people to do great things.
  • When I am weak, He is strong in me.
  • God uses my weakness for His glory.
  • Despite my weakness, God can use me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Remember what the great missionary Hudson Taylor said about weakness.

“All God’s giants were weak mean who did great things for God because the reckoned God to be with them.”

Wednesday – I Overflow With Hope

Midway through the week, we how God fills us with joy and peace. He gives us hope that is overflowing.

Biblical hope is the confidence that God will fulfill what He has promised.

Here’s the promise.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope. – Romans 15:13

Make these confessions.
  • In Jesus Christ, I am filled with hope.
  • Because of that hope, I have peace and Joy.
  • The Holy Spirit in me fills me with hope.
  • I overflow with hope, joy, and peace today.

In Jesus name,
Amen

We are filled with hope today because our eternity is secure, God loves us, and the Holy Spirit is in us.

Thursday – I Know the Fullness of God’s Love

On Thursday, we celebrated the promise of knowing the fullness of God’s love. No matter how long you have been a Christian, there is more of God’s love for you to experience.

Here’s the promise.

And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:19 (ESV)

Make these confessions.
  • I have the fullness of God in me.
  • God’s love is beyond my comprehension.
  • The more I experience the love of Christ, the more there is to experience.
  • The more I comprehend His love, the more I experience His fullness.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The love of Christ is incomprehensible. There is no end to His love for you. His love for you goes further and deeper than you can ever experience. Through His love, you experience the fullness of God in you.

Friday – I Am Reconciled to God

We ended the week, seeing how we have been made right with God. Our sins are forgiven, and we have the righteousness of Christ in us.

Now God calls us to help bring others into faith in Christ.

Here’s the promise.

Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation. – 2 Corinthians 5:18

Make these confessions.
  • I am reconciled with Christ.
  • My sins are forgiven and removed.
  • His righteousness has been imparted to me.
  • God has given me the ministry of bringing others into a relationship with Him.

In Jesus name,
Amen

As a new creation, who is now a friend with God, you have the opportunity to point others to the love of Christ. You have the ministry of reconciling others to God.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.

All of them ministered to me. The first one I shared to encourage myself and my love ones facing decisions during this time.
    Thank you
