And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
The Fullness of Christ
This promise is the third part of a prayer Paul made for the church of Ephesus. We are claiming it for ourselves today.
God wants you to know the full love of Christ. This isn’t just head knowledge of His love, but experiential knowledge. Paul is praying that you experience the love of Christ that goes beyond understanding. The more you experience the love of God in your life, the more His fullness is evident in your life.
The more you experience the love of Christ, the more there is to experience. The love of Christ goes beyond anything you can imagine. You will never reach the end of His love for you. No matter how far or deep you go, there is always more.
As Warren Wiersbe said, “As a Christian, you never have to worry about inadequate spiritual resources for day-to-day living.”
If you have ever been on a boat in the middle of the ocean, you have seen a wonderful picture of God’s love. You can see the open ocean to the horizon. Yet, the further you go, the further the sea extends. As you move toward the horizon, you see the horizon move forward as well.
No matter how far you go, there is always an open horizon of God’s love before you.
As you experience the boundless love of God in your day-to-day living, you will experience the fullness of God in your life.
The more you grab ahold of God’s love, the more you find the abundance of God’s presence flowing through your life.
Look at that promise again.
And to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. – Ephesians 3:19 (ESV)
Make these confessions.
I have the fullness of God in me.
God’s love is beyond my comprehension.
The more I experience the love of Christ, the more there is to experience.
The more I comprehend His love, the more I experience His fullness.
In Jesus name,
The love of Christ is incomprehensible. There is no end to His love for you. His love for you goes further and deeper than you can ever experience. Through His love, you experience the fullness of God in you.
