Angels Will Protect You
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them.
Psalm 34:7
We don’t see them, but God stations angelic warriors around us. The angels who protect you are greater than those who come against you.
Angels Protect You
Few people have ever seen an angel. Even in the Bible, there are only a handful of instances when an angel manifests itself. However, God promises that these unseen guardians surround you with supernatural protection. Every day, angelic forces are working on your behalf, defeating demonic attacks, extinguishing the fiery arrows of Satan, and protecting you from unforeseen harm.
In 2 Kings 6, the king of Syria sent an army with horses and chariots to bring Elisha, the prophet, before him. When Elisha’s servant stepped outside the tent one morning, he saw an army surrounding the city. The servant was filled with fear and went running to the prophet. He asked the prophet, “What shall they do?”
There Are More With You Than Against You
Elisha was amazingly calm amid the situation. He told the servant not to be afraid. He asked the Lord to open the servant’s eyes. God answered his prayer, and the servant’s eyes were opened. Now he saw another army, this one with flaming chariots and angelic warriors stationed all along the mountain ridge. Elisha told his servant that those who were with them were more than those who were against them. God opened the servant’s spiritual eyes so he could see the spiritual reality around him.
Things haven’t changed. You may not see angels with your physical eyes, but you can rest assured you are surrounded by an army of angelic warriors ready to come to your defense. You will never live in fear when you know an angelic army surrounds and protects you. Remember, there are more with you than against you.
Look at that promise once again.

Angelic warriors with flaming swords are ready and able to come against any force or foe who comes against you today.
Make these confessions.
- I may not see them, but God has stationed angels all around me.
- There are more with me than against me.
- I will not fear, knowing angels are defending me.
- Today, an angelic army surrounds and protects me.
