This Week’s Scriptures
Romans 8:26 | Isaiah 41:10 | Matthew 10:29-30 | Psalm 119:9,11 | Isaiah 43:2
Saturday is review day. We go back through the promises we covered this week so we can help God’s Word become part of our life.
On Monday, we saw how the Holy Spirit prays for us.
In the same way the Spirit also joins to help in our weakness, because we do not know what to pray for as we should, but the Spirit Himself intercedes for us with unspoken groanings. – Romans 8:26
On Tuesday we left fear behind because we learned that God is always with me. Isaiah 41:10 says,
Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you; I will help you; I will hold on to you with My righteous right hand.– Isaiah 41:10
On Wednesday we discovered how God the Father know and cares about the smallest details of our life. Jesus said,
Are not two sparrows sold for a cent? And yet not one of them will fall to the ground apart from your Father. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. So don’t be afraid therefore; you are worth more than many sparrows. – Matthew 10:29-30
On Thursday we discovered that God’s Word will keep us from sin.
How can a young man keep his way pure? By guarding it according to your word. I have stored up your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.– Psalm 119:9,11
Finally, on Friday we saw how God is with us through the flood and the fire.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, Nor will the flame burn you. – Isaiah 43:2
Confess this with me.
When I don’t know what to pray, or how to pray,
The Holy Spirit is praying for me.
I will not fear because God is with me
He is strengthening me.
He is holding me up with His righteous right hand.
God knows and cares about the smallest details of my life.
Every hair on my head is numbered.
I am significant to God.
God’s word keeps me from sin.
The closer I am to God’s Word.
The further I will be from sin.
There will be times when I suffer loss and feel overwhelmed.
During those times God is with me.
When I go through the flood,
I will not drown.
When I pass through the fire,
I will not be burned.
