This Week’s Scriptures

Deuteronomy 1:30-31 | Psalm 30:5 | John 15:15 | Isaiah 26:3 | Philippians 1:6

Saturday is review day. We go back through the promises we covered this week so we can allow God’s Word to become part of our life.

On Monday, we saw how God goes before.

The LORD your God who goes before you will Himself fight on your behalf, just as He did for you in Egypt before your eyes, and in the wilderness where you saw how the LORD your God carried you, just as a man carries his son… – Deuteronomy 1:30-31

On Tuesday we learned how God’s favor lasts a lifetime, and that sorrow and pain will not last forever. Joy will come in the morning. The promise was Psalm 30:5

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. – Psalm 30:5

On Wednesday we claimed the promise that Jesus calls us friends.

No longer do I call you slaves, for the slave does not know what his master is doing; but I have called you friends, for all things that I have heard from My Father I have made known to you. – John 15:15

On Thursday we learned how God promises perfect, supernatural peace for those who trust in Him.

You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on you, because he trusts in you. – Isaiah 26:3

Finally, yesterday we saw how God is working in our lives and will complete the work He began.

For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus. – Philippians 1:6

Confess this with me.

Today, God is going before me.
He is clearing the way.
When I face a giant or the enemy attacks.
He will fight the battle for me.
When I face sorrow, it won’t last forever.
Because God is bringing a new day of joy and favor.
In Jesus Christ, I am a friend of God.
As His friend, I have fellowship with Him and He with me.
There is never a place for fear, guilt, or shame because God is my friend.
What God began in my life, He is going to complete.
Every day He is working to make me more like Jesus.
He will never let me down.
I am confident that He will complete His work in me.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

Since you will be at church tomorrow, why not share what you have learned on The Daily Promise? If this program is a blessing to you encourage your friends at church to join The Daily Promise.

I’ll be back on Monday with a new set of God’s promises for the week. Until then I’m praying you love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your might. This is Billy Taylor, God’s Richest Blessing,
