This Week’s Scriptures

2 Corinthians 5:1 | Matthew 6:33 | Psalm 23:1 | Psalm 119:73 | 1 Corinthians 3:16

It’s been a great week on the Daily Promise. Saturday is review day. Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week.

On Monday we saw how God has given us an eternal body. Your body may be getting older, or even falling apart, but God has an eternal body waiting for you in heaven.

2 Corinthians 5:1- For we know that if the tent that is our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

On Tuesday we discovered that as we make the kingdom of God our priority, everything else in life will falls into place.

Matthew 6:33- But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Wednesday’s promise was that God is your shepherd and we are His sheep. He provides, protects and guides you.

Psalm 23:1 – The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want.

On Thursday, we saw how God has fashioned your body to fit perfectly in his purpose and desire.

Psalm 119:73 – Your hands have made and fashioned me; give me understanding that I may learn your commandments.

We ended the week talking about how you are the temple of God. God’s spirit dwells in you. Wherever you go, you take the presence of God with you.

1 Corinthians 3:16 – Do you not know that you are a temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?

Confess this with me.

In Jesus Christ, I have a new, eternal body.
When I pass from this life into eternity,
I will receive a new and eternal body handmade by God Himself

As I seek the kingdom of God first
Everything else is added to me.
As I make following Christ my priority
All the other things I have been seeking fall into place.
I look forward to all God brings into my life

The Lord of all creation is my shepherd.
He is caring for me today.
He is my protection, provision, and guide.
He knows my name, and I hear His voice.
Through Him, I have every need supplied.

I am the handiwork of God
He made me with a purpose and a plan
I am not an accident, I am created.
I was fashioned according to His specifications for His purpose.
Today I celebrate how God fashioned and created me.

I am the temple of God.
God’s spirit dwells in me.
Wherever I go, I bring the presence of God with me.
I represent God to the world around me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

I’ll be back on Monday with a new set of God’s promises for the week. Until then I’m praying you love God with all your heart, all your soul and all your might. This is Billy Taylor, God’s Richest Blessing.

Which promise was most meaningful to you this week? Let me know in the comment below.

Thank you for the encouraging promises and the study of God’s word! May God Bless you for all you are doing to encourage people in truth. I love all these promises but specifically Psalm 119:73…He made me in HIS image for HIS purpose and glory. I am fearully and wonderfully made to fulfil the plan HE has called me to. I love the other daily promise that He is my Shephered and will always guide and protect me!
