Today’s Promise

God Hears My Prayers

1 Peter 3:12

For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears attend to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.

It’s easy to get discouraged when it comes to prayer.

Questions like, am I doing this right? Does it really make a difference? And Is God even listening? Flood our minds when it comes to prayer.

As a child of God, you can be assured that your Loving Heavenly Father is attentive to your prayers. He is actively listening for your call.

The phrase “His ears attend to their prayers,” is the picture of a father leaning down toward his little one, eager to hear every word the child has to say. Have you ever considered that God is eager to hear your prayer? He not only hears your prayer but is eager to hear your prayer.

Mother’s have a special gift of hearing their child’s cry no matter how many people are in the room. Guys neither possess, nor understand this gift. When our children were little, my wife could hear our daughter’s cry in a room full of 2-year-olds. She could spot our son’s call in a crowded McDonalds playground. Your Heavenly Father has His ear tuned to your cry.

God has His ear attentive to your voice.

His ear is tuned to your call. You never have to fear that God hears your prayer. He is eager and willing to hear and answer your prayer.

Let’s review that verse one more time.

For the eyes of the Lord are toward the righteous, and His ears attend to their prayer, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil. – 1 Peter 3:12

Make this confession.

As a child of God, I know God is hearing my prayer
When I pray, He leans forward with eager anticipation
I need never worry that my prayers are being heard by God.
I know that when I pray, God hears
And when God hears, He answers.=
Today, God is hearing my prayer

In Jesus Name,
Amen

I believe for you and all of us, that Jesus is our healer. He is more than enough. And he is healing the asthma of your family right now. The doctors say that the fact is that they have asthma. Truth says that by His stripes, they are healed.

My son is lost and has denied God”s existence. I pray for him to be like the prodigal son and return home to Jesus” arms. He was raised as a Christian.

Kimberly, I am praying with you for your son. I’m claiming Proverbs 22:6 for you – “Train up a child in the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

Oh Lord, I need your comfort. I know that with your comfort everything will be fine. Thank you Jesus.

Karyango, our wonderful Father Abba has always given me comfort when I asked for it, sometimes in words, sometimes through another believer and other times through the physical world. So keep your head up and look, comfort is on the way. I’m praying for you.
“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Cornthians1:3-4

That our son John will find a permanent job very soon, he’s getting discouraged after losing a temp job, while he was waiting for call backs on a permanent job. He’s been on many interviews, John is a very humble man and does not interview well. Asking for prayers that he will be hired soon. In Jesus precious name I pray.

My wife is lost and has hardened her heart to God. Her beliefs have been influenced by unbelieving friends who encourage her to divorce and have convinced her that I am weak because I use Jesus as a crutch. Since this has started our Lord has told me over time to 1) just love her; 2) let go and trust Him; 3) believe He will give me the desires of my heart, which is for her salvation and a resurrection of our marriage; 4) this is a battle for the spiritual real so clothe myself with the His amour and stand firm; and 5) follow through, don’t give up. This has been going on for a year now and I am weary…

Henry, I too had once hardened my heart to God. My husband and I had extreme marital issues. God has healed them; we are still together after 34 years of marriage. God can do wonders! Don’t give up! Thankfully neither my husband or I gave up when each of told the other we wanted a divorce (me 18 years ago and my husband 2 years ago). I am praying for you.

I’m trusting God to resurrect my husband and restore my marriage! I trust Jesus to bring conviction and repentance in the life of the man I love so that he may experience true freedom and healing from his past and be used in a mighty way for God’s glory!

Praying for the safety and protection of my nephews. For my oldest nephew to walk with God and do what is right. Peace for my mom and dad. They have done so much for others. They need peace. For my daughters to walk closer with God.

My husband of 30 years, who was a very godly man, walked away from our loving marriage over nine years ago with no explanation. In addition my daughters have refused to talk to me for nine years. Things that have happened would never have happened in the natural. We were a very close family and my husband adored me. Pray for my marriage and family to be restored and for my husband and all three children to return to God.
