Today’s Promise

Give Thanks to the Lord, for He is Good

Psalm 118:29

Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting.

Today marks the one year anniversary of The Daily Promise.

It’s hard to believe we have completed an entire year of celebrating the promises of God. It seems like yesterday, I sat down behind a mic and began teaching the promises of God.

It has been my joy to bring you The Daily Promises this last year.

Over the last 12 months, The Daily Promise was listened to almost 80,000 times in 157 countries.

I want to say thank you to those of you who have supported the ministry this year. Without your support, this program would not be possible.

As we begin our second year, I’m asking God to expand our borders with a goal of 250,000 listens over the next 12 months. This is a major step of faith and will require God’s blessing, provision, and favor. With so many people discouraged and hurting, the positive promises from God’s word are needed as never before.

Will you pray for me and this ministry as I share the word of God each day? Join in praying for God’s anointing and blessing.

Thanks again for your prayer and your support. I can hardly wait to see what God does in the days to come.

So, let’s get to today’s promise.

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. – Psalm 118:29

I can’t think of a better verse to commemorate our first anniversary than one on thankfulness. All we have and all we are comes from the Lord.

If you are like me, I can get so caught up in the stresses and problems of the day; I forget to be thankful for all the marvelous things in my life.

As you practice thankfulness, your ego is kept in check, and you remember just how blessed you are.

Today, you can be thankful.

No matter what your situation, you are blessed by God.

Most of us live a lifestyle that the majority of the world’s population can only dream of living. We worry and fret about so many things that we miss the blessings all around us.

  • You can give thanks today because God is good.
  • You can give thanks today because God is caring for you in ways beyond your knowledge.
  • You can give thanks today because His commitment love toward you is everlasting.

He will never forget you and never leave you. Even when you think you are all alone, God is there with you, through the Holy Spirit to teach, direct, and comfort you.

Look at that verse again.

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; For His lovingkindness is everlasting. – Psalm 118:29

Make this confession.

  • Thank you, Lord, for all the blessings you have given me.
  • Thank you for your goodness and promise.
  • Thank you for caring for me in ways I never see.
  • Thank you, Father, that your love for me will never end.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Thank you again for being a part of The Daily Promise family. Your prayer and support help keep me encouraging others with the promises of God’s word.
