Review Saturday

This Week’s Scriptures

Ephesians 1:3 Malachi 3:6 | Genesis 1:27 | John 3:34 | Psalm 103:8

Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise.

Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow God’s word to go deep in our hearts. So let’s get started.

We began the week discovering that you are blessed with every spiritual blessing.

Here’s the promise.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places. – Ephesians 1:3

You are blessed. It’s a fact. God has blessed you! He has poured out every spiritual blessing on you because of His love. He has blessed you and will continue to bless you.

Make This Confession

God has blessed me with every spiritual blessing.
I don’t have to wait until heaven to experience the blessing of God.
The Holy Spirit is blessing me today.
Today, I walk in the blessing and favor of God.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Tuesday we saw how our God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

Here’s the promise.

For I am the LORD, I do not change. – Malachi 3:6

God has not changed in His nature, in His purpose, or His promise. His love and goodness never change. While the world may change around you, He is the constant foundation you can hold on to.

Make this confession

My God never changes.
He is the same yesterday, today and forever.
Every promise He has made, He will fulfill.
He is my stable foundation.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On Wednesday we saw how you are made in the image of God.

The promise is found in Genesis 1:27

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. – Genesis 1:27

You are not an accident. God created you in His image with a purpose in mind. You bring glory to God when you live as the person God created you to be.

Confess This

I am created by God.
I was made in His image
I may be marred by sin, but God’s image is in me.
I am a reflection of the great, creative God.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Thursday we learned that Jesus gives the Holy Spirit without measure.

Here’s the promise.

For he whom God has sent utters the words of God, for he gives the Spirit without measure. – John 3:34

The only way you can live the Christian life is through the power of the Holy Spirit within you. Jesus promises you a life filled with the Holy Spirit without measure.

Make this confession.

Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would indwell in me.
I have the Holy Spirit without measure.
The Holy Spirit is filling and empowering me.
He is guiding and directing me today.
His presence is overflowing to the world around me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

We wrapped up the week seeing how God’s lovingkindness is flowing over you.

The promise is found in Psalm 103:8

The Lord is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. – Psalm 103:8

No matter where you are with the Lord today, His lovingkindness is pouring over you. You cannot fall far enough that His lovingkindness won’t reach down and pull you up.

Confess this with me.

God’s lovingkindness is poured over me today.
I cannot go beyond his love and grace for me.
He calls me back when I am disobedient.
He is ready with love, mercy and grace to meet my every need.

In Jesus Name.
Amen
