Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise.

Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.

We began the week seeing how God’s favor lasts a lifetime.

Here’s the promise.

For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning. – Psalm 30:5

Make this confession.

Today, I rest in God’s favor.
God’s commitment love for me will never change.
I am accepted by God, and He is working on my behalf.
Even when going through difficult times, I still walk in God’s favor.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On Tuesday, we celebrated the fact that in Christ, we have eternal life.

Here’s the promise.

I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. – John 5:24

Make this confession.

In Jesus Christ, I have eternal life.
I do not fear death because I have the promise of God.
My sin is forgiven, and there is no condemnation for me.
When I die, I will see Jesus face to face.
I will spend eternity in heaven because Jesus promised it.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Midway through the week, we saw how we can rejoice in obeying the Word of God.

Here’s the promise.

I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. – Psalm 119:14

Make this confession.

It is my joy to be an obedience child of God.
I am blessed as I obey the commandments of the Lord.
When I walk in obedience, God protects me from harm.
When I obey God’s word, I honor God and show my love for Him.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On Thursday, we were reminded we can be thankful in every situation because God is in control.

Here’s the promise.

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Make this confession.

I thank God for pouring our His blessings on me.
Every day I will spend a few moments expressing thankfulness.
God is the source of all I need.
I thank God in every situation because I know He is working for my good.

In Jesus name,
Amen

We ended the week seeing that if we are faithful to God’s calling, we will see the harvest.

Here’s the promise.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. – Galatians 6:9

Confess this with me.

I will not lose heart.
I will continue to plant the seeds God has given me.
I may not see it yet, but the harvest is coming.
I will not grow weary, and I will not give up.
Day by day, God is growing the seeds that I plant.
I will be faithful until I see the harvest God is bringing.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. I hope these 5 promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

While you are at church tomorrow, tell someone about The Daily Promise help me encourage more Christians with the promises in God’s word.
