Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise.

Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.

We began the week seeing how there is no reason to fear the evil one or the kingdom of darkness. God has promised to protect you and be with you.

Here’s the promise.

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. – Psalm 23:4

Make this confession.
  • I fear no evil.
  • God is protecting me from every attack of Satan.
  • When walking through my darkest times, God is with me.
  • I don’t walk in fear; I walk in faith.

In Jesus name,
Amen.

On Tuesday, we discovered that God provides all the grace we need to face any and every problem we encounter

Here’s the promise.

But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” – 2 Corinthians 12:9

Make this confession.
  • I have God’s grace working in my life.
  • I have God’s unmerited favor.
  • His grace gives me strength, power, and comfort.
  • No matter what I face, God’s grace is enough for me.
  • I can face any situation because God’s grace is working in my life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Midway through the week, we learned that as we seek to glorify God in all we do, we can live in contentment no matter what our circumstances.

Here’s the promise.

Not that I speak from want, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am. – Philippians 4:11

Make this confession.
  • In Jesus Christ, I am content.
  • I will not seek meaning through what I own or have.
  • I find purpose and satisfaction in Christ.
  • I am content in every situation of life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On Thursday saw how God is faithful to fulfill every promise He has made. You can claim the promise of God because you know He is faithful to do what He has committed to do.

Here’s the promise.

Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. – Hebrews 10:23

Confess this with me.
  • God will fulfill every promise He has made.
  • I hold fast to the hope I have in Jesus Christ.
  • My hope is not based on my strength, but on His faithfulness.
  • I am confident that what God has said, He will do.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On Friday, we talked about allowing the Word of Christ to dwell in us. As you allow the Word of Christ to `dwell in you richly, you can live with wisdom and encourage everyone around you.

Here’s the promise.

Let the word of Christ richly dwell within you, with all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with thankfulness in your hearts to God. – Colossians 3:16

Make this confession with me.

  • The word of Christ is at home in my heart.
  • I am fully yielded to the word of Christ.
  • The word of Christ empowers every area of my life.
  • I will not be taken in by false teaching or deception.
  • I am growing in wisdom as I allow His word to dwell in me richly.

In Jesus name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. I hope these 5 promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

We are getting really close to our goal of 70,000 listens to The Daily Promise.

If you know someone who would be blessed by The Daily Promise, take a moment and share it with them.

Next week we will begin a series entitled, “Christmas Promises.” I hope you will join me as we look at the promises related to the the birth of Christ and how it effects us as believers. I hope you will join me.
