Review Saturday

This Week’s Scriptures

Matthew 1:23 Isaiah 7:14 John 3:16 Romans 8:1 Galatians 5:22-23

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise

Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.

We began the weeks looking at the importance of the virgin birth.

Here’s the promise.

“Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel” (which means, God with us). – Matthew 1:23

Make this confession.
  • Jesus was the Savior, born of a virgin.
  • He broke the chain of sin that Adam began.
  • Jesus had an earthly mother but a Heavenly Father.
  • I find peace, forgiveness, and eternal life in Him.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On Tuesday, we discovered the promise that God would now be with us – Immanuel.

Here’s the promise.

Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel. – Isaiah 7:14

Make this confession.
  • Immanuel, God is with us.
  • Since Jesus walked among us, He knows the struggles I face.
  • Because God is with me, I am never alone.
  • Because God is with me, He is only a prayer away.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On Christmas Day, we celebrated the greatest promise of all. God loved us so much, that He gave us His Son.

Here’s the promise.

For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. – John 3:16

Make this confession after me.
  • I Am loved by God.
  • His love for me is more than I can comprehend.
  • God will never stop loving me.
  • Because He loves me, He sent His Son.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Because of the promise we looked on Thursday, there is never a need for us to feel condemned. God has taken away all condemnation.

Here’s the promise.

There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. – Romans 8:1

Confess this with me.
  • In Jesus Christ, my sin has been paid.
  • There is no condemnation on me.
  • I am free from the shame and guilt of my past.
  • Praise God, Jesus has taken away all condemnation.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

We wrapped up the week with the promise of the fruit of the Spirit growing in us.

Here’s the promise.

But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law. – Galatians 5:22-23

Make this confession with me.
  • In Jesus Name, the fruit of the Spirit are going in my life.
  • As I walk in the power from the Holy Spirit, these fruit become evident in my life.
  • I chose today to walk in the Spirit and allow Him to grow these fruit in my life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

That’s it for this week.

I hope these five promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His Word.

Share one of these promises with a friend. Allow God’s word to encourage them today.

Please put this ministry on your prayer list. I believe 2020 will be an incredible day for this ministry. We need your prayer support for God’s blessings, wisdom and guidance.
