Romans 8:37 Psalm 16:11 Psalm 34:16 1 Corinthians 15:22 Psalm 37:4

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise.

Every Saturday, we review the promises of the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts and lives.

We began the week seeing how we are more than conquerors through Jesus Christ.

Here’s the promise.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. – Romans 8:37

Confess this with me.
  • In Jesus Christ, I have overwhelming victory.
  • I don’t fear death because Jesus conquered it.
  • I have victory over fear, worry, and temptation.
  • I overcome every attack of Satan because Christ is in me.
  • Jesus empowers and fills me with His Spirit
  • Today, I am more than a conqueror.

In Jesus Name,

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that our life will be filled with joy as we walk in the presence of God.

Here’s the promise.

You reveal the path of life to me; in Your presence is abundant joy; in Your right hand are eternal pleasures. – Psalm 16:11

Make this confession.
  • In God’s presence, there is abundant joy.
  • Joy is the evidence of my walking in God’s presence.
  • Today, I am on the path to life – overflowing with joy.
  • I will spend eternity in the joyful presence of God.

In Jesus Name,

Midway through the week, we discovered that when we face problems and difficulties, God delivers us from them all.

Here’s the promise.

Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the LORD delivers him out of them all. – Psalm 34:19

Confess this with me.
  • When I face afflictions, God delivers me.
  • Sometimes he delivers me from problems.
  • Sometimes He meets me in the problem.
  • As I go through afflictions, God strengthens my faith.
  • I will experience complete deliverance when I see Him face to face.

In Jesus Name,

On Thursday, we saw how Christ has made us alive with Him.

Here’s the promise.

For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ all will be made alive. – 1 Corinthians 15:22

Make this confession with me.
  • Just as Adam brought sin and death, Jesus brings life and righteousness.
  • I will not die; I will simply go to sleep in Christ.
  • Just as God raised Christ from the dead, He will raise me as well.
  • In Jesus Christ, I have life.

In Jesus Name,

We ended the week claiming God’s promise to give us the desires of our heart as we delight in Him.

Here’s the promise.

Delight yourself in the Lord; and He will give you the desires of your heart. – Psalm 37:4

Make This confession.
  • As I delight in the Lord, He gives me my desires.
  • As I delight in the Lord, His desires become my desires.
  • As I trust in the Lord, my delight in Him grows.
  • The true desires of my heart are fulfilled in my relationship with Christ.

In Jesus Name,

That’s it for this week. I hope these five promises have been a blessing to you. Tomorrow is the Lord’s day, so I hope you will be in church, worshiping the Lord and hearing His Word.

Let me encourage you to share these promises and The Daily Promise with a friend. Everyone needs encouragement from God’s Word.
