Review Saturday

This Week’s Scriptures

Luke 19:4-5 | 1 John 4:4 | 2 Timothy 1:7 | James 4:7 | Galatians 3:26

Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise. Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week. So let’s get started.

We began the week by looking at how God calls you by name.

So he ran on ahead and climbed up into a sycamore tree in order to see Him, for He was about to pass through that way. When Jesus came to the place, He looked up and said to him, “Zaccheus, hurry and come down, for today I must stay at your house. – Luke 19:4-5

Make this confession.

I am important to God.
He knows my name.
God loves me and invites me into an intimate relationship with me.
He calls me by name to follow Him.

In Jesus Name.

On Tuesday we saw how the Spirit of God that dwells in you is greater than the spirit of this world.

You are from God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world. – 1 John 4:4

Here’s the confession.

The Spirit of Christ dwells in me.
I will not be fooled by the false prophets of the day.
I will not fall to the temptations Satan brings to my door.
The Holy Spirit in me is greater than the spirit of this world.

In Jesus Name.

On Wednesday we claimed the power you have over fear.

For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.2 Timothy 1:7

Confess this;

Fear does not control me.
God has given me power, love, and self-control.
I am not afraid.
I will step out in faith and not cower in fear.
I will not miss an opportunity to minister because I am afraid.
I will follow God’s direction wherever He leads, in faith.

In Jesus Name.

On Thursday, we saw how the Devil aways runs away when you submit to God and resist him.

Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. – James 4:7

Make this confession.

In Jesus name, I have victory over the Devil.
I submit myself to the will and leadership of Christ.
I stand against the attack of Satan in my life.
I claim the victory God has promised me over Satan.
I know Satan will flee as I resist him.

In Jesus Name.

We closed out the week seeing how God calls you His son(even if you are a lady).

For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.Galatians 3:26

Make This confession.

I am a Son of God.
God is my Father.
I am in Christ and covered by His blood.
His standing before God is my standing.
I can come boldly before Him in prayer.
He calls me son and I call him Father.

In Jesus Name.

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.
