Review Saturday

This Week’s Scriptures

Ephesians 1:2 | Jeremiah 29:13 | Isaiah 40:29 | Ephesians 2:10 | John 5:24

Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise. Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week. So let’s get started.

We began the week by looking at how God has promised grace and peace.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. – Ephesians 1:2

Make this confession.

Today, God’s grace and peace are flowing over me.
I live in God’s unmerited favor and blessing.
My fear and shame have been removed because of His grace.
I am at peace with God.
Because I am at peace with God, I can live in peace with those around me.

In Jesus Name.
Amen

On Tuesday we claimed the promise that when we seek the Lord, we will find Him.

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. – Jeremiah 29:13 (ESV)

Confess this with me.

God is not hiding from me.
When I seek Him, I find Him.
He reveals Himself to me when I seek Him with all my heart.
I am seeking Him today, so I can know and enjoy Him more.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

We hit the midweek on Wednesday claiming the strength and power God offers us.

He gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless. – Isaiah 40:29 (HCSB)

Confess this with me.

When I am weary, God gives me strength.
When I feel powerless, He empowers me.
God is the source of my strength.
As I trust in God, He gives me strength.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Thursday we discovered how we are the handiwork of God.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10 (NASB)

Confess this after me.

I am the handiwork of God
He created me in His image, and I am his masterpiece.
Every day, God lines out good works for me.
I walk in those good works to bring glory and honor to Him.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

We wrapped up the week on Friday remembering Jesus’ promise of eternal life.

I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. – John 5:24

Confess this with me.

In Jesus Christ, I have eternal life.
I do not fear death because I have the promise of God.
My sin is forgiven, and there is no condemnation for me.
When I die, I will see Jesus face to face.
I will spend eternity in heaven because Jesus promised it.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.

I believe I came across your ministry through a resource to pray for my spouse. Now, the emails I receive every day bless me tremendously! The scriptures and confessions you share speaks life into me! I am forever grateful for all who make this ministry possible!

I saw from your comments that you all are expanding to new avenues of reaching new people with the love of Christ, have you all thought about an Instagram account? If so, what is your name?

Thank you again & God Bless!

      Chrissy,
So glad they are a blessing to you. We do have plans to begin on instagram in the near future, but don’t have a date as of yet. I want to make sure I can do a good job on a media before I jump in. But hopefully we’ll be on there soon.
