Review Saturday

This Week’s Scriptures

Psalm 139:17-18 | Isaiah 1:18  | Matthew 28:10 | Ephesians 1:18-19 | Ephesians 6:10

Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise.

Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow God’s word to go deep in our hearts. So let’s get started.

We began the week seeing how God is always thinking of you. Here’s the promise.

How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How vast is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would outnumber the sand. When I awake, I am still with You.  – Psalm 139:17-18

Confess this after me.

Right now, God is thinking about me.
I am on His heart and His mind.
He thinks of me so often that I could never count or comprehend His thought toward me.
As my loving Father, I am always on His mind.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Tuesday we claimed that your sin has been forgiven.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. – Isaiah 1:18

Confess this.

God invites me to come to Him with my sin.
God not only forgives my sin but makes my heart pure again.
No matter how dark my sin is, God can make it as white as snow.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Wednesday was a reminder that God is always with you.

Teaching them to observe everything I have commanded you. And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. – Matthew 28:20

Confess this today.

No matter where I go, Jesus is with me.
He empowers me to accomplish everything He commands.
His presence is with me and in me.
Through the Holy Spirit, He empowers, guides, and comforts me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Thursday was all about how God opens your eyes to at least three spiritual truths.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. – Ephesians 1:18-19

Make this confession.

God is opening my eyes to the hope I have in Christ.
I am part of the inheritance of the saints.
God’s surpassing power is being poured out on me.
Every day God is opening my eyes to all He has for me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

We concluded the week seeing how God makes you strong through Jesus Christ.

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10

Here’s the Confession.

In Jesus Christ, I am strong.
I will not be defeated by any attack of Satan.
I am empowered as I draw upon the strength of the Lord.
God’s power within me gives me victory over every enemy.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. Sunday is the Lord’s day, I hope you will be in a church worshiping the Lord and hearing His word.
