Review Saturday

This Week’s Scriptures

Philippians 3:20 Joshua 21:45 | Titus 3:5 | Matthew 6:19-20 | Jude 24

Saturday is review day on the Daily Promise.

Every Saturday we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow God’s word to go deep in our hearts. So let’s get started.

We started the week off seeing how you are a citizen of heaven. Here’s the promise.

Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. – Philippians 3:20

Confess this.

Right now, I am a citizen of heaven.
I know that when I die, I will spend eternity in heaven.
I am no longer at home in this world.
I look forward to the return of Christ.
I live with my eyes on heaven knowing this world is not my home.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Tuesday, we saw how God fulfills every promise He makes.

Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass. – Joshua 21:45

Here’s the confession.

My God fulfills every promise.
By faith, I am holding onto every promise God has made.
All of God’s promises to me are good.
God will never fail to fulfill even the smallest promise made to me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Midway through the week, we discovered how God’s mercy makes you new.

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. – Titus 3:5

Make this confession.

I can never be good enough for God.
God’s mercy has been poured out on me.
I don’t deserve God’s love, but because of His mercy, I am loved.
Through faith, I have been reborn in Christ.
Jesus is renewing my mind and my heart to be like Him.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

On Thursday we saw how Jesus promises what we invest in heaven will last forever.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. – Matthew 6:19-20

Confess this with me.

I invest my time, talent, and finances in the Kingdom of God.
I expect eternal rewards for my investment.
Earthly treasure may fade, but my heavenly treasures will last for eternity.
God uses my kingdom investments to minister and to bring others to Christ.
I am storing up heavenly treasure for all eternity.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

We ended the week seeing how Jesus keeps you from falling and how He is full of joy to present you to God the Father.

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy. – Jude 24

Confess this with me.

Jesus is working in me to bring about his plan in my life.
Jesus keeps my salvation.
What I did not earn, I cannot lose.
Jesus blood has made me blameless before God.
Jesus has great joy in presenting me to God the Father.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

That’s it for this week. I hope you will be in church tomorrow fellowshipping with other believers and worshiping God together.
