God Equips You to Fulfill His Call
Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen./span>
Hebrews 13:20-21
God has already qualified, empowered, and equipped you to walk in obedience to Him and serve Him with faithfulness and power.
God equips you.
God has given you everything you need to do His will. When you came to Christ in faith, God empowered and equipped you with everything you need to walk in obedience to Him.
Whatever God calls you to today, He has already equipped you to handle it. God never commands you to do something He doesn’t empower you to accomplish. When I was a boy, our pastor used to say, “God doesn’t call the qualified; He qualifies the called.”
God Empowers You
When you came to Christ through faith, God empowered and equipped you with the Holy Spirit so that you could walk in victory and usefulness to the kingdom of God. Sure, there are challenges and struggles, but God has provided all you need. It takes time to grow into the person God wants you to be, but God continues to work in your life.
When God calls you to a ministry or a task, He gives you everything you need to fulfill that calling. Are you ministering where you just don’t feel qualified? God qualifies those He calls.
All You Need
Do you feel overwhelmed by the pressures of life? God is giving you everything you need.
Ever feel inadequate or that you are in way over your head? God will strengthen and empower you.
God has equipped you to have victory over every temptation because of the work of Christ in you.
No matter what you may face today, you can accomplish all God has for you because He has already equipped you. You have all you need for victory and obedience.
Look at that promise again.

- God has equipped me to walk in obedience today.
- God called me and qualified me.
- In Jesus Christ, I can handle anything that comes my way.
- I walk in victory because God has equipped me.
