Today’s Promise
God is Looking for Ways to Help Me
2 Chronicles 16:9
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him.
Imagine
Imagine the God of the universe searching the earth for people He can support, bless, and strengthen. The only criterion is that their heart must be blameless before Him.
Now, a blameless heart doesn’t mean a perfect or sinless heart. A blameless heart is one that is completely yielded and trusting in God.
The person with a blameless heart has decided to be a fully devoted follower of Christ. They are not an on-again, off-again follower. The decision has been made, and they are committed.
God Wants to Support You
God wants to support you by being on your side, strengthening you, and supplying your every need. He wants to protect and defend you. He wants to encourage you and stand by you against any enemy.
God is Looking
Since God is always looking for those trusting in Him, He will never forget or overlook you. Just as a mother constantly watches over her children as they play on the playground, God is watching over you. At the first sign of trouble, the mother rushes to the aid of her children.
God is actively seeking ways He can support, empower you today.
Look at that promise again.
For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to give strong support to those whose heart is blameless toward him. – 2 Chronicles 16:9
Make these confessions.
- As a follower of Christ, God is my strong support.
- He is on my side.
- I will never be overlooked or forgotten in His eyes.
- God is standing with me to protect and provide for me.
