Today’s Promise

God Opens Doors When You Ask, Seek, and Knock

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened.
Luke 11:9-10

Keep Praying

Do you give up too soon in prayer? If so, today’s promise is for you.

This promise is one of those Bible verses we all know but rarely practice. It’s a great verse to frame and put on the wall, but a better verse to live.

Prayer is not a one-time act. It’s not just saying a prayer and then moving on with life. Jesus tells us to ask and then keep on asking, to seek and keep on seeking, to knock and keep on knocking.

Keep Knocking

When you keep asking, seeking, and knocking, you have the promise that God will hear and answer your prayer.

If you have prayed about an issue and don’t have an answer, keep praying. A pastor friend used to say that when it comes to prayer, we should “PUSH – Pray – Until – Something – Happens.”

We give up too soon in prayer. We bring our request to the Lord once and expect the heavens to open and angels to descend with our answer. Jesus promises to reward those who will not give up in prayer. Those who refuse to stop knocking until the door is opened.

God is Not Reluctant

God is not reluctant or waiting for you to convince Him to answer your prayer. As a loving Father, He wants to bring good things into your life and meet your every need.

Sometimes, spiritual warfare must take place, and God’s timing has to be fulfilled. Daniel had to wait 21 days for his prayer to be answered. A heavenly battle had to be fought and won for the answer to come.

No matter what you are praying about today, keep on asking, seeking, and knocking. God’s answer is on the way.

Look at that promise again.

So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks, receives; and he who seeks, finds; and to him who knocks, it will be opened. – Luke 11:9-10

Make these confessions.

  • I know God is answering my prayer.
  • When I ask, seek, and knock, I receive, find, and the door opens.
  • I will not give up in prayer but will continue to ask, seek, and knock.
  • I will pray until something happens.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

Don’t give up in prayer. Keep seeking, asking, and knocking. God’s answer is just around the corner.

Im Praying that my niece Nicole gets transferred to a nursing home close to me that she would love. We’ve been waiting for an opening. I’m her guardian and I want to spend time with her every week and help her. The location where she is now is too far and I don’t get to see her very often.🙏

I am asking, seeking, and knocking. Calling on my Heavenly Father to intervene in my situation today.
I am in an overwhelming situation. I am in debt way over my head. I am asking God to show me the way, to bring me deliverance, I am seeking Him in prayer, I am knocking at the door of His heart, that He will open it and let me in. Show me the Father. Show me the way..
