Today’s Promise

God Will Never Leave or Forsake You

Hebrews 13:5

Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you.

When you feel like the world has turned it’s back on you. There is one who has promised never to leave or forsake you.

Forsaken

At one time or another, we’ve all had the painful experience of being forsaken. Maybe it was a friend who shared hurtful things about us to others. Maybe it was a co-worker or business partner who stabbed us in the back. Perhaps it was a spouse who was unfaithful, or simply decided they wanted out the marriage. Whatever the situation when you are forsaken, it cuts to the very core of your being.

The emotional trauma of being forsaken can last a lifetime and make it difficult to trust others.

Though some may forsake or forget you, God promises He will never forget or turn His back on you. Though everyone else may turn on you, God will always be there for you.

I Will Never Leave You

God made this same promise to the great leaders of the Bible. He promised Moses, Joshua, David, and Solomon, just to name a few. These men did mighty things for God because they knew He would be with them.

God also made the promise to a young prodigal who left his family and lived a life of sinful pleasure. God met this young man on the backside of a pig farm and reminded him of a father who would never forget or forsake him.

You may have been hurt in the past. Friends, co-workers or even family have said and done things that left you feeling all alone. God will never leave you. Just like those God used in the Bible, you can do mighty things for the kingdom because God is with you.

God is Still Faithful

Even if you have slipped away from the Lord, He has never forsaken you and is ready to welcome you back home.

If you are lonely today, run to the one who has never, and will never forget you. If you have been hurt by others, run to the God who has promised to always be with you. If God is calling you to a new ministry, remember, He will be with you.

Look at that promise again.

Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. – Hebrews 13:5

Make this confession.

  •   God will never leave me or forsake me.
  •   God can use me because He is with me.
  •   No matter what I do, God will never forsake me.
  •   I am never alone because God is with me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The COVID Virus and the shift in the economy had made it hard on ministries. On top of that, donations tend to drop off during the summer. I Found that when I am at my lowest, he always picked me up. At that time in my life just a little girl, I hope and prayed for his guidance and protection. He has never let me down. Always felt safe in pray. AMEN
