Today’s Promise

God’s Favor Lasts Forever

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning.
Psalm 30:5

God’s favor is flowing over you today. As His child, you will never outlive His grace and favor working in your life.

As a follower of Christ, you live in God’s favor. God’s favor is His supernatural blessing and kindness toward you. The New Testament word for favor is “grace.”

God’s Favor Empowers

God’s favor empowers you to be and do things you could never do on your own. His favor invites you to come boldly into His presence and fellowship with Him. Through His favor, you know your prayers are heard and answered.

God pours His favor on all His children. His favor provides your every need. Every blessing of God is evidence of His favor on you. You can’t earn His favor; it is a gift of grace.

Many of us have a hard time accepting the favor of God. We feel unworthy of God’s favor. The truth is, we are. No one can earn God’s grace. No matter how hard you try, you can never be good enough for God’s favor. The good news is that God’s favor is not dependent on your worthiness.

God’s Favor is for a Lifetime

One of the most amazing aspects of God’s favor is found right in the middle of today’s verse. God’s favor lasts a lifetime.

God’s favor is not for a moment or an hour. God’s favor is forever. You will never run out of God’s favor. Every morning God’s favor is renewed in your life.

Sure, sometimes difficult days come along. However, knowing God’s favor lasts a lifetime is a reminder that even in the hard times, His favor and grace are flowing over you.

Take a few moments today and celebrate God’s favor. As His child, walk in His favor and grace today. Even if you were to live to be one hundred years old, God’s favor would still be new every morning. His grace would still bring His blessing throughout your day.

Look at that promise again.

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, But a shout of joy comes in the morning. – Psalm 30:5

Make these confessions.

  • I live in God’s favor and blessing.
  • God renews His favor to me every morning.
  • I don’t deserve His favor, but He gives it freely.
  • I will never outlive God’s favor on me.
  • Every blessing is evidence of God’s favor in my life.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

Because you are His child, you can never deplete the favor of God. Every day, God will continue to pour his favor on you until you close your eyes and see Him face-to-face.

God has been gracious and merciful. Weather it is , blessing me with a life partner or an apartment we could call our home or saving our lives from the Covid-19, we have experienced the shout of joy only because of God’s favour. I pray and believe God would continue to show His favour. Glory be to God.
Thank You Lord. Thank You. Thank You. Thank You.
