God’s Love Never Changes

“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the Lord who has compassion on you.
Isaiah 54:10

God’s Love is Greater

God’s love goes beyond your understanding. He has a commitment love for your that is not based on your actions. God’s love for you never changes.

There is only one thing you can count on in this world, and it’s not death or taxes. When your whole world is shaken and everything seems to fall apart, you can always count on God’s love.

God’s love is at the very heart of the Gospel. His love sent Jesus to bring you salvation. His love is poured out on you every day.

God’s Lovingkindness

The Old Testament often uses the word “lovingkindness” to describe God’s love. Lovingkindness is not a word we use very often. It’s one of those Bible words you hear about at church but may not really know what it means.

Lovingkindness is God’s commitment love for you. His lovingkindness is His love for you that goes beyond your actions. Lovingkindness is God’s loyal love. It is His love that shows mercy and forgiveness. God has a committed love for you.

God’s Grace

The New Testament word for lovingkindness is grace. God’s grace, like His lovingkindness, is an expression of His goodness. There is nothing you can do to make God love you more and nothing you can do to make God love you less. His grace has nothing to do with how good or bad you are.

When your world falls apart, it’s easy to feel like no one loves you. We have all had times when friends abandoned us, and we felt all alone. When you really mess up and fall into sin, it’s easy to think that God no longer loves you. Remember, God’s love never changes.

When God makes a promise, He keeps it. He promises to love you no matter what you go through. God’s love is the one thing you can always count on. No matter what your situation, no matter how you feel or what you have done, God’s love will always be there. God’s love never changes, never fails, and never ends.

Look at that promise again.

“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the Lord who has compassion on you. – Isaiah 54:10

Make these confessions.

  • God has a commitment love for me.
  • No matter what happens, I can count on His love.
  • Even when I am unfaithful, God’s love for me doesn’t change.
  • God’s love for me never changes, never fails, and never ends.

In Jesus’ name,
Amen

When everything falls apart, and you feel like everyone has deserted you, there is one thing you can count on; the love of God.
