Today’s Promise

I Am Working All Things for Your Good

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose.
Romans 8:28

God Is Working

Sometimes, it’s hard to understand why God allows some things to come into your life. You rarely know the why, but God promises that He is working them for your good.

Every day, God is working in your life. You may not see it or even realize it, but God is quietly at work bringing about His plan for your life.

For Your Good

God takes everything that comes into your life and uses it for your good. Even though the Apostle Paul suffered many things, he was absolutely convinced that God could use everything in his life for good.

This promise doesn’t guarantee that God will eliminate every issue or problem you face. We live in a fallen world, and sometimes bad things happen to good people. Life can be hard at times, and often the answers are just out of reach. At times it may be hard to see God’s hand at work, but trust me, right this moment, God is working in your life for your good.

This verse does promise that God will take the good, the bad, and everything between that come into your life and use them for your good. God is in control and has a plan for your life. No matter what comes along, you can rest assured that it has crossed God’s desk and received His approval.

God Uses All Things

Though God doesn’t stop difficult things from happening to you, He does work through them to bring about good in your life. God doesn’t cause problems, but He can use them to mold your character, grow your faith, and bring things together for your good.

The answer to the big “why” question may not be answered until you get to heaven. However, you can hold onto this promise with the assurance that God is working everything for your good.

Every day, God takes the events in your life and molds them for your good and His glory.

Look at that verse again.

And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. – Romans 8:28

Make these confessions.

  • God is working His good plan in my life.
  • God has approved everything that comes into my life.
  • He is working for my good and His glory.
  • Even when I can’t see it, God is working.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

You can be confident that God has a plan and that there are no accidents. God has approved everything that comes into your life. He has placed His stamp of approval, knowing He can use it for your good and His glory.

Prayer Partners Wanted

Recently, God spoke to me about creating a prayer team for this ministry. As I encourage people to pray for their spouse and their pastor, I need a group of prayer warriors who will pray for me and this ministry.

I invite you to become a Prayer Partner for The Daily Promise. What is a Prayer Partner? A Prayer Partner is someone who will commit to pray daily for me and this ministry. As a Prayer Partner, I’ll send you a monthly prayer sheet asking you to pray about specific needs and guidance for me and this ministry. I’ll be sharing the struggles and victories we are going through with you. As a Prayer Partner, I ask that you take a few moments every day to intercede for me and the ministry.
