Today’s Promise

Jesus Keeps You From Falling

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy.
Jude 24

Keep You From Falling

Jesus is overjoyed to present you to the Father. He will keep you from falling and make you holy and pure before God.

The book of Jude ends with this powerful benediction on the grand purpose and plan Jesus has for you.

Every day, Jesus watches over you to bring about His good work in you. This promise gives you three things Jesus is doing in your life today.

Three Things Jesus is Doing

First, He is keeping you from falling. Salvation is about the work Jesus has done in you. He keeps you from falling in your faith and from the faith. Every day Jesus is working to keep you from stumbling and falling in your walk with God.

One day a young man asked his pastor if a person could lose their salvation. The pastor asked him, “Have you ever seen a falling star? The young man said, “Yes, sir, I have.” The pastor said, “No, you haven’t. You may have seen a meteor, but you haven’t seen a falling star. You know it’s a meteor because stars don’t fall.”

In Jesus Christ, your salvation is secure. You did not earn your salvation, so you can’t lose your salvation. Jesus will keep you from falling.

Second, Jesus is working in you to present you blameless before God. Because of what Christ did on the cross, your sin is removed. You stand faultless before the throne of God. The blood of Jesus has made you clean and pure before God. Your shame and sin have been forgiven and removed. Every day, Jesus works in your life to help you live out the righteousness He has already imparted to you.

Third, He will present you with great joy to God the Father! Think about that for a moment. Jesus is overjoyed to present you to His Father. So many Christians go through life thinking Jesus is disappointed with them. He is not ashamed or embarrassed by you. Like a young groom beaming with pride to introduce His new wife, Jesus is full of joy at the thought of presenting you to His Father.

Look at today’s promise one more time.

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy. – Jude 24

Remember, Jesus is full of joy, knowing He will present you blameless to His Father.

Make these confessions.

  • Jesus is working to bring about his plan for my life.
  • Jesus keeps my salvation.
  • What I did not earn, I cannot lose.
  • Jesus’ blood has made me blameless before God.
  • Jesus rejoices in presenting me to God our Father.

In Jesus’ Name,

Today, Jesus is working in your life to keep you secure in your faith. He will joyfully present you to the Father as His holy brother or sister.
