Today’s Promise

Jesus Lives in Me

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Galatians 2:20

Jesus Lives in You

When you came to Christ, through faith, Jesus took up residence in your heart. You have Jesus living in you today.

When you came to Christ, God did more than forgive your sins and provide heaven when you die. Those two things are incredible on their own, but just like God, He took it to the next level.

When you came to Christ, Jesus came into your heart; He took up residence in you. That’s a little hard to wrap your mind around, but the Spirit of Christ is in you.

Christ in you is more than just symbolic. Jesus literally took up residence in you. Here are a few things to consider when it comes to Jesus in you.

You Are a New Person

When Christ came into you, He made you a new person. That person you were before you came to Christ is dead and gone. 2 Corinthians 5:17 says that you are a new creation. Your old sinful heart was transformed and reborn into a heart that longs to walk in fellowship and obedience to Christ.

Since Christ is in you, He is always with you. Just because you may not feel His presence doesn’t mean He is not there. No matter where you go, you bring Jesus with you. Because of this, you bring Jesus into every conversation, meeting, or situation. When you walk into a room, Jesus comes with you.

God Speaks to Your Heart

Since Christ is in you, He speaks to your heart. God speaks to you in many ways. He may speak as you read the Bible or hear sermon from your pastor. He may also speak to you through fellow Christians. However, most of the time, God speaks to your heart. Since Christ dwells in your heart or spirit, it makes sense that He speaks to your heart. Through the years, I have heard God’s voice in my heart as clearly as if I had heard it in my ear.

Since Christ is in you, He leads you. If you listen, you will be amazed at how God will lead you through your day. If you allow Him, He will guide you through His spirit in you.

Look at that promise again.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20

Make these confessions.

  • I have Jesus dwelling in me.
  • Jesus leads me throughout my day.
  • I am a new person in Jesus Christ.
  • Wherever I go today, Jesus goes with me.
  • In Jesus name
    Amen

You have Jesus living in you. You have been made new in Him, and wherever you go, He is there with you. He speaks to you and leads you throughout your day.

It is great to be able to pray for peace before stressful tasks at work. He is there to comfort me and takes away the fear.

It is wonderful to be reminded of christ’s presence in me. My faith rises for knowing that He feels my pains and have compassion to heal me from distressful neck and shoulder pains.
