Monday – I Have Peace With God

We began the week talking about the peace with have through Christ. The only way you can find true peace is through your relationship with Christ.

Here’s the promise.

Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. – Romans 5:1

Make these confessions.
  • Through faith in Christ, I have peace with God.
  • My sin has been paid through the blood of Jesus.
  • Since I have peace with God, I have peace with my past.
  • The peace of Christ flows into every area of my life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

If you are struggling today, remember that you have peace with God through faith in Christ and the promise of peace in every area of your life.

Tuesday – God’s Word Builds My Faith

On Tuesday, we saw that our faith grows as we spend time in God’s word. the Bible is a transformational book. If you allow it, the Bible will reshape your thinking and your life.

Here’s the promise.

So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. – Romans 10:17

Make these confessions.
  • God’s word is the foundation of my faith.
  • My faith grows as I read and study the Bible.
  • When I read the Bible, I ask God to speak to me.
  • I commit to spending time reading the Bible every day this week.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The Word of God awakens your faith. It teaches you what God is like, how to live the Christian life, and inspires you to be all God has called you to be.

Wednesday – I Give Him Joy

Midway through the week, we learned that as His child, I bring him joy. As part of His church, you are the bride of Christ. You are the focus of His attention. He waits in anticipation for you to be with Him throughout all eternity.

Here’s the promise.

…and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. – Isaiah 62:5

Make these confessions.
  • God sees me the way a groom sees his new bride.
  • God’s love for me is beyond my ability to understand.
  • I will not walk in fear, shame, or regret because God loves me.
  • I can rejoice today because God rejoices over me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

You never have to live in fear, shame, or feel insignificant. The God of the universe is overjoyed with you.

Thursday – Obedience Brings Joy

On Thursday, we learned how joy comes to those who walk in obedience to God. When we walk in obedience, we walk in the favor of God, it keeps us from harm, and we please the Father.

Here’s the promise.

I rejoice in following your statutes as one rejoices in great riches. – Psalm 119:14

Make these confessions.
  • It is my joy to be an obedient child of God.
  • I am blessed as I obey the commandments of the Lord.
  • When I walk in obedience, God protects me from harm.
  • When I obey God’s word, I honor God and show my love for Him.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The benefits of obedience far outweigh the cost of walking in disobedience. When you walk in obedience, joy will fill your life.

Friday – I Am Alive in Christ

On Friday, we celebrated the new life we have in Christ. Our God is so rich in mercy that He not only forgave our sins but brought life to our dead soul. He has made us alive to God and alive for all eternity.

Here’s the promise.

But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved. – Ephesians 2:4-5

Make these confessions.
  • God has made me alive with Jesus Christ.
  • The power of sin is broken.
  • One day I will be raised to a new life for all eternity.
  • I will have a new body design for living in the eternal kingdom of God.

In Jesus name,
Amen

God raised us up with Christ and has made us alive in Him. He gives us the hope that one day, we will be raised up with Him for all eternity.
