Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – Hope Brings Joy

We kicked off the week, seeing that how we view the future affects the way we live today. As a Christian, we have hope for today and all eternity because we place our trust in Christ. Out of that hope springs a joy that is beyond comprehension.

Here’s the promise.

The hope of the righteous brings joy. – Proverbs 10:28

Confess this with me,
  • I have joy because my hope is in the Lord.
  • I don’t fear tomorrow because God is in control.
  • I have a confident assurance that I will spend eternity in God’s presence, enjoying the joys of heaven.
  • My joy overflows because I hope in Him.

In Jesus Name,

Amen

Remember, as you place your hope in Christ, joy will overflow your heart.

Tuesday – God Leads Me Down Clear Path

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that as we submit our plans, goals, and desires to the Lord, He will clear the path for us. God gives us clarity and direction. As we trust in Him, He removes every obstacle and leads us past any detour we might take. He makes our path straight.

Here’s the promise.

In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. – Proverbs 3:6

Confess this after me.
  • As I acknowledge the Lord, He shows me the way to go.
  • He gives me direction and clarity.
  • He removes every obstacle.
  • He makes my path straight and clear.
  • He leads me in every decision I make.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Remember, God always leads those who submit their lives to Him.

Wednesday – God Fights the Battle For Me

Midway through the week, we were reminded that God fights our battles for us. It’s not about our strength or might, but God’s power in us.

We never have to worry when we face a spiritual battle. The God we serve is in the battle with us and will give us victory as He fights for us.

Here’s the promise.

One man of you puts to flight a thousand, since it is the Lord your God who fights for you, just as he promised you. – Joshua 23:10

Make these confessions.
  • I win every battle because God fights for me.
  • With God on my side, I can face any enemy.
  • I never face the spiritual battle alone. God is with me.
  • Since God fights for me, I can drive away every enemy.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Remember, God has promised to fight your battles for you, so relax and trust Him.

Thursday – God Has a Good Plan for My Life

On Thursday, we learned that God has a good plan for our lives. Just like a father wants the very best for His children, God wants the best for us. He is working His good plan in our lives, even when we can’t see it.

Here’s the promise.

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope. – Jeremiah 29:11

Make these confessions.
  • God has a plan for my life.
  • His plan is for my good.
  • He is giving me a future.
  • I have hope as I trust in His plan.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Never forget God is working in your life to bring about His good plan. He hasn’t forgotten you and is working in the background to bring about His good plan in your life.

Friday – My Sin is Wiped Away

We ended the week celebrating that our sin has been forgiven and washed away. Even though we all struggle with sin, God is ready to forgive our sin and cleanse us. His cleansing removes all the guilt, shame, and remorse.

Through faith in Christ, God has washed us with the blood of Christ and removed every hint of sin and stain.

Here’s the promise.

But if we walk in the Light as He Himself is in the Light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin. – 1 John 1:7

Confess this with me,
  • In Jesus Christ, my sin is forgiven.
  • God has cleansed me from all the shame, guilt, and pain of my sin.
  • I am clean and pure before Him.
  • I no longer identify with my sin but with my righteousness in Christ.
  • When I sin, God forgives me and cleanses my heart.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

God not only forgave your sin, but God cleansed your heart. Your debt is paid, and your sin is erased. Now go and live like it!

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from God’s Word.
