Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – I Have a Heavenly Crown

We kicked off the week, seeing that when Jesus returns, He will reward those who have served Him well with a heavenly crown.

Here’s the promise.

And when the Chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory. – 1 Peter 5:4

Make these confessions.

  • God will reward my service to Him and the body of Christ.
  • When Jesus returns, I will receive my reward.
  • I am storing up my rewards in heaven.
  • One day I will wear a crown of glory.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

When Christ returns, those faithful to minister to others will receive a crown of glory. That crown will never fade and will last for all eternity.

Tuesday – When I Draw Close to God, He Draws Close to Me

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that when we draw close to God, He draws close to us.

We never have to fear rejection from the Lord. Our Heavenly Father is ready to draw close to us when we draw close to Him.

Here’s the promise.

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. – James 4:8

Make these confessions.

  • God is always ready and waiting to welcome me back into His presence.
  • I can’t walk in sin and walk in His presence.
  • I cannot be double-minded and draw close to God.
  • When I draw close to God, He draws close to me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

No matter how far away you are from God, when you draw near to Him, He will draw near to you.

Wednesday – I Am the Light of the World

Midway through the week, we claimed the promise that we are the light of the world. We don’t have to try and be the light; we are the light.

Here’s the promise.

“You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.” – Matthew 5:14

Make these confessions.

  • In Jesus Christ, I am the light of the world.
  • I am a city set on a hill.
  • I bring the kingdom of God into every situation of life.
  • I walk in clarity, security, and guidance.
  • I bring the Father’s light to a world of darkness.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Just as Jesus declared He was the light of the world. You are now that light. You bring the light of Christ into every situation of life. As the light of the world, let your light shine.

Thursday – With Faith All Things Are Possible

On Thursday, we saw that with faith, all things are possible.

Here’s the promise.

And Jesus said to him,” ‘If You can?’ All things are possible to him who believes.” – Mark 9:23

Make these confessions.

  • God wants to do more in me and through me than I can imagine.
  • Nothing is impossible when I put my faith in Christ.
  • When I pray in faith, God answers.
  • Father, grow my faith in you.
  • Today, I walk and pray with faith in Christ.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

What is your faith level? When you have faith, all things are possible.

Friday – My Sin is Removed

We ended the week celebrating the promise that our sin has been removed. When you came to Christ through faith, you asked forgiveness of your sin. At that moment, the blood of Jesus forgave your sin. You were made right with God, and your sin was removed.

Here’s the promise.

As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. – Psalm 103:12

Make these confessions.

  • In Jesus Christ, my sin have been removed.
  • My sin is as far from me as the east is from the west.
  • I no longer live in shame or guilt.
  • Jesus has forgiven and removed my sin.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

When Jesus died on the cross, He took your sin. Your sin is no longer your own. It has been removed as far as the east is from the west.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.

Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
