Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – He Never Leaves or Forsakes Me

We began the week seeing how God never leaves us or forsakes us. Though some may forsake or forget you, God promises He will never forget or turn His back on you.

Here’s the promise.

Your life should be free from the love of money. Be satisfied with what you have, for He Himself has said, I will never leave you or forsake you. – Hebrews 13:5

Make these confessions.
  •  God will never leave me or forsake me.
  •  God can use me because He is with me.
  •  No matter what I do, God will never forsake me.
  •  I am never alone because God is with me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

When you feel like the world has turned its back on you, there is one who has promised never to leave or forsake you.

Tuesday – I Will Trust and Not Fear

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that when we trust in the Lord, we won’t fear the world around us.

Here’s the promise.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Lord God is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. – Isaiah 12:2

Make these confessions.
  • I will not fear because God is my salvation.
  • The more I trust in Him, the less I live in fear.
  • Jesus is my salvation.
  • All I need, I find in Him.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Remember, to overcome fear, focus on building your faith.

Wednesday – God’s Grace Overflows in Me

Midway through the week, we talked about how God’s overflowing grace is being poured out on us. We have more of God’s grace than we will ever need.

Here’s the promise.

And God is able to make every grace overflow to you, so that in every way, always having everything you need, you may excel in every good work. – 2 Corinthians 9:8

Make these confessions.
  • God is pouring His grace on me today.
  • Because of His grace, I have everything I need.
  • I overflow with good works today.
  • God’s grace is flowing through me to meet the needs around me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Through God’s grace, He has empowered you with everything you need to be a blessing to those around you.

Thursday – God Leads Me to Make Wise Choices

On Thursday, we saw that God leads us to make wise choices as we fear the Lord. He has promised to fill us with wisdom and guidance.

Here’s the promise.

Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose. – Psalm 25:12

Make these confessions.
  • As I fear the Lord, He directs my path.
  • He gives me wisdom for the choices I must make today.
  • As I make the right choices, I follow successful paths.
  • God gives me wisdom and direction as I learn to fear Him.

In Jesus name,
Amen

When you fear the Lord, God promises to lead and guide you through the big and small decisions of life.

Friday – I Am a True Worshiper

We finished the week confessing that in Christ, we are true worshipers. As we worship in spirit and truth, we know our worship is pleasing to God.

Here’s the promise.

God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth. – John 4:24

Make these confessions.
  • I can worship God wherever I am.
  • I worship the Lord through the name of Jesus.
  • When I worship, my heart reaches out to God.
  • God accepts my worship when I worship Him with an honest and sincere heart.

In Jesus Christ,
Amen

As followers of Christ, we know that when we come to God in prayer or worship, we come in spirit and truth.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.

Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
