Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – When You Pray in Faith I Will Answer

On Monday, we saw how God loves to answer the prayers of His children. However, we must pray in faith. Praying in faith can move mountains, but praying without faith is a waste of time.

Here’s the promise.

And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith. – Matthew 21:22

Make these confessions.
  • I believe God hears and answers my prayers.
  • When I pray in faith, I receive from God what I ask.
  • When my faith is weak, God strengthens me.
  • My faith grows as I continue to pray in faith.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

Remember, faith opens the doors of heaven and brings God’s answer.

Tuesday – God is Good to All

On Tuesday, we were reminded that God is good. Goodness is part of His character. Goodness is at the heart of all He is. He is not just mighty, not just powerful, not just eternal; He is good.

Here’s the promise.

The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made.– Psalm 145:9

Make these confessions.
  • God is good, and He pours His goodness on me.
  • God’s mercy is on me today.
  • God’s goodness never changes.
  • God is good to all and good to me.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

Today, God is pouring His goodness on us. Because He is good, He does good things in our lives.

Wednesday – God Equips You to Fulfill His Call

Midway through the week, we claimed the promise that God always equips us to fulfill His call in our lives. Whatever God has called you to today, He has already equipped you to handle.

Here’s the promise.

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. – Hebrews 13:20-21

Make these confessions.
  • God has equipped me to walk in obedience today.
  • God called me and qualified me.
  • In Jesus Christ, I can handle anything that comes my way.
  • I walk in victory because God has equipped me.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

Thank God, He has equipped us. No matter what we face today, God has equipped us to handle it.

Thursday – God Knew You Before You Were Born

On Thursday, we celebrated the promise that God knew us even before we were born. He knows the details of our lives. Before we were born, God formed us for His purpose and glory.

Here’s the promise.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations. – Jeremiah 1:5

Make these confessions.
  •  God knew me before I was born.
  •  He formed me with His own hands.
  •  God has appointed me for a special purpose.
  •  I am known and loved by God.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

You are not a genetic accident but a person formed by the loving hand of God. He made you for His purpose and called you to fulfill that purpose in Him.

Friday – You Are Holy and Blameless Before God

We concluded the week with the promise that Christ has made us holy and blameless through our faith in Him.

We come before God with the righteousness of Jesus on us.

Here’s the promise.

Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil actions. But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him. – Colossians 1:21-22

Make these confessions.
  • While I still hated God, He was working in me.
  • In Jesus Christ, I am holy.
  • His death has made me blameless before God.
  • God has forgiven every sin I have or ever will commit.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen

You are not the person you once were. God has removed your past and forgiven your sin. Jesus presents you holy, faultless, and blameless before God.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word. Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.

Psalm 145:9 really blows my mind. God still is good to me despite how bad I am at times. I am overwhelmed how much He wants to bless me even though I make so many mistakes and commit so many sins. We have such an awesome God..
