Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – The Lord is Good

We began the week by seeing how God is good to all. Goodness is part of God’s character. He is good, and He does good. Because He is good, He pours His mercy on all of His creation.

Here’s the promise.

The Lord is good to all, and his mercy is over all that he has made. – Psalm 145:9

Make these confessions.
  • God is Good, and He pours His goodness on me.
  • God’s mercy is over me today.
  • God’s Goodness never changes.
  • God is good to all and good to me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you review God’s goodness and mercy, your faith is strengthened, and your joy will overflow.

Tuesday – God Equips Me to Fulfill His Calling

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that God has qualified, empowered, and equipped us to walk in obedience to Him and serve Him with faithfulness and power.

Here’s the promise.

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. – Hebrews 13:20-21

Make these confessions.
  • God has equipped me to walk in obedience today.
  • God called me and qualified me.
  • In Jesus Christ, I can handle anything that comes my way.
  • I walk in victory because God has equipped me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Thank God, He has equipped you. No matter what you are facing today, God has equipped you to handle it.

Wednesday – God Knew Me Before I Was Born

Midway through the week, we were reminded that God knew us before we were born. He not only knew us but appointed us for His purpose. Just as He appointed Jeremiah the prophet, He made each of us for a purpose to accomplish His plan in our life.

Here’s the promise.

Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you; I appointed you a prophet to the nations. – Jeremiah 1:5

Make these confessions.
  •  God knew me before I was born.
  •  He formed me with His own hands.
  •  God has appointed me for a special purpose.
  •  I am known and loved by God.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

You are not a genetic accident but a person formed by the loving hand of God. He made you for His purpose and called you to fulfill that purpose in Him.

Thursday – Jesus Calls Me Holy and Blameless

On Thursday, we saw how Jesus presents us holy, faultless, and blameless to God the Father.

Here’s the promise.

Once you were alienated and hostile in your minds because of your evil actions. But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him. – Colossians 1:21-22

Make these confessions.
  • While I still hated God, He was working in me.
  • In Jesus Christ, I am holy.
  • His death has made me blameless before God.
  • Every sin I have or ever will commit is forgiven.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

You are not the person you once were. God has removed your past and forgiven your sin. Jesus presents you holy, faultless, and blameless to God.

Friday – God is My Hiding Place

We ended the week with the promise that God is our hiding place. When the pressures and storms of life come, there is one we can run to who provides protection, restoration, and security. Because God places a wall of protection all around us, we can sing of our deliverance in Him.

Here’s the promise.

You are my hiding place; You protect me from trouble. You surround me with joyful shouts of deliverance. – Psalm 32:7

Make these confessions.
  • When trouble comes, I have a hiding place.
  • God will preserve me through my troubles.
  • He will cover me on all sides.
  • Jesus is my hiding place.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

When problems surround you, and you feel like you can’t gain victory, you have a hiding place in God.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.
