Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday

We began the week with the promise Jesus made that we would overflow with rivers of living water.

Here’s the promise.

Whoever believes in me, as the Scripture has said, ‘Out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.'” Now this he said about the Spirit, whom those who believed in him were to receive, for as yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified. – John 7:38-39

Make these confessions.
  • I overflow with the living water of the Spirit.
  • I will never thirst again.
  • I bring life-giving water to every situation.
  • I have the solution for every thirsty person I meet.

In Jesus name,
Amen

As a believer, you have a never-ending flow of life-giving water. Allow that water to overflow into every situation, and to every person, you meet today.

Tuesday

On Tuesday, we talked about Jesus as the Good Shepherd. He knows us, we hear His voice and follow Him.

Here’s the promise.

My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. – John 10:27

Make these confessions.
  • I hear and recognize the voice of God.
  • Jesus knows everything about me.
  • I will never be ignored or forgotten by the Father.
  • I follow Jesus wherever leads.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Jesus is your Good Shepherd. You should never fear where God is leading you. It may be a little scary at times, but you can be sure it will be for your good and will result in provision and safety.

Wednesday

Midway through the week, we saw how we are seated with Christ in heaven.

Here’s the promise.

Even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus. – Ephesians 2:5-6

Make these confessions.
  • I am seated with Christ in heaven.
  • I walk in this world, but my position is in heaven.
  • I live in His presence, with victory and authority in Christ.
  • God’s grace is working in my life today.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Since you are seated with Christ, you live in His presence every moment of the day. You don’t have to come into His presence; you are already in His presence. You are in Christ, and He is in you.

Thursday

On Thursday, we talked about choosing to rejoice. We can choose to rejoice because we know God is in control.

Here’s the promise.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice! – Philippians 4:4

Make these confessions.
  • Today, I choose to rejoice.
  • The Holy Spirit is producing joy in my life.
  • My joy is not dependent on my circumstances.
  • I rejoice as a confession of God’s goodness and care for me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Even on your darkest day, you can choose to rejoice. As you do, you will experience the supernatural joy of Christ flowing in you no matter what you are going through.

Friday

We wrapped up the week, discovering that God sees more in us than we see in ourselves. He sees all we can be in Him.

Here’s the promise.

The angel of the Lord appeared to him and said to him, “The Lord is with you, O valiant warrior.” – Judges 6:12

Confess this with me.
  • How I see myself is unimportant.
  • How God sees me is what matters.
  • Today, I will live the life God has for me.
  • I will be all He sees in me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

God sees more in you than you see in yourself. He is calling you to a life of faith and victory. If you allow Him, God will use you as never before. You may be in winepress today, full of fear and frustration, but God sees in you as a valiant warrior. He sees you as one who can bring help, healing, and deliverance to those around you.
