Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – I Have God’s Grace and Peace

We began the week claiming the promise that we have God’s grace and peace. As God pours on us His unmerited favor, we can live in complete peace, knowing He is in control.

Here’ the promise.

Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. – Ephesians 1:2

Make these confessions.
  • Today, God’s grace and peace are flowing over me.
  • I live in God’s unmerited favor and blessing.
  • Because of His grace, my fear and shame are gone.
  • I am at peace with God and myself.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Today, God’s grace and blessings, are pouring over you. Because of His grace, you can walk in complete peace before Him and with those around you.

Tuesday – When I Seek the Lord, I Find Him

On Tuesday, we saw how seeking God must be the priority of our life. Half-hearted seeking rarely brings you into a deeper relationship with Him. However, when we seek Him with all that we are, we will find Him.

Here’s the promise.

You will seek me and find me, when you seek me with all your heart. – Jeremiah 29:13

Make these confessions.
  • God is not hiding from me.
  • I know that when I seek Him, I find Him.
  • I find Him when I seek Him with all my heart.
  • Today, I am seeking God with all my heart.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

You have the assurance that when you seek the Lord with all your heart, you will find Him.

Wednesday – God Gives Me Strength When I am Weary

Midway through the week, we claimed the promise that when we are weak and powerless, God makes us strong.

Here’s the promise.

He gives strength to the weary and strengthens the powerless. – Isaiah 40:29 (HCSB)

Make these confessions.
  • When I am weary, God gives me strength.
  • When I feel powerless, He empowers me.
  • God is the source of all I need.
  • As I trust in Lord, He gives me strength.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you trust in the Lord, He will strengthen you today.

Thursday – I Am His Masterpiece

On Thursday, we celebrated the fact that we are God’s handiwork – His masterpiece. He created us with a special purpose in mind.

Here’s the promise.

For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand so that we would walk in them. – Ephesians 2:10 (NASB)

Make these confessions.

  • I am the handiwork of God.
  • He created me in His image, and I am His masterpiece.
  • Every day, God plans out good works for me.
  • I walk in those good works to bring glory and honor to Him.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Like a master artisan, God is fashioning you into His perfect masterpiece. You will bring Him glory through the good works you do.

Friday – My Harvest is Coming

We ended the week remembering that if we don’t give up and keep planting the seeds of obedience, we will reap a wonderful harvest.

Here’s the promise.

Let us not lose heart in doing good, for in due time we will reap if we do not grow weary. – Galatians 6:9

Make these confessions.
  • I will not lose heart.
  • I will continue to plant the seeds God has given me.
  • I may not see it yet, but the harvest is coming.
  • I will not grow weary, and I will not give up.
  • Every day, God is growing the seeds that I plant.
  • I will be faithful until I see the harvest God brings.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Remember, the harvest comes to those who faithfully plant God’s seed every day.
