Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – I Am A Firmly Planted Tree

We began the week by seeing the importance of God’s Word in our life. As we make God’s Word a priority, we live with purpose and become a firmly planted tree that can withstand the storm and provide refreshment to those around us.

Here’s the promise.

But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. – Psalm 1:2-3

Confess this with me.
  • As I delight in God’s word, I will be like a firmly planted tree.
  • God has placed me where I am for a purpose.
  • I provide refreshing shelter to everyone around me.
  • The storms of life will not move me because I am firmly planted.
  • I will make an impact on those around me for generations to come.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you learn to delight in the word of the Lord, God will make you like a tree firmly planted for His glory.

Tuesday – I Place All My Cares on Jesus

On Tuesday, claimed the promise that we can throw all our problems, concerns, and worries on the Lord. Jesus loves us so much that He invites us to place them all on Him.

Here’s the promise.

Casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. – 1 Peter 5:7

Make these confessions.
  • Today I throw all my cares on Christ.
  • I humble myself and place my trust in Him.
  • I put my fears, worries, and concerns on Christ.
  • I know He will carry my burdens because He loves me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

When you cast all your anxieties on the Lord, you will find new strength, confidence, and faith as you trust the Lord’s goodness to bring you through.

Wednesday – My Steps Are Ordered by God

Midway through the week, we learned how our every step is ordered by the Lord. He not only orders our steps but delights in our following Him.

Here’s the promise

The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, And He delights in his way. – Psalm 37:23

Makes these confessions.
  • Today, my steps are ordered by God.
  • I am walking in the way He leads me.
  • He places my feet on solid ground.
  • My every step is directed and secured by Him.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

When your path is rough and unstable, God is securing your steps.

Thursday – Angels Go Before Me

On Thursday, we discovered that God placed angels to go before us to guard and guide us along the way.

Here’s the promise.

See, I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared. – Exodus 23:20

Make these confessions.
  • Today I am protected by angels that go before me.
  • I rest in faith that God’s angels are guarding me.
  • I stand firm, knowing angels are clearing the way for me.
  • Father, thank you for your angelic defense team that watches over me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

There is no need to fear, for God has placed angels to go before you. They will guard you, and clear your path.

Friday – He is Faithful

We ended the week with the reminder of God’s faithfulness. Every new day is an opportunity to thank God for His faithfulness and commitment love to us.

Here’s the promise.

The Lord’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. – Lamentations 3:23

Confess this with me.
  • I can never deplete the love of God.
  • His love for me is renewed every morning.
  • God is faithful, even when I am not.
  • Thank you, God, for your great faithfulness to me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

No matter who you are or what you have done, you will never deplete the love God has for you. You will never push God so far that He will break his promise to you. His steadfast love and mercy will always be with you.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from God’s Word.
