Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Take a moment to review the promises and confession to allow God to move them deep into your heart.

We began the week seeing how God has equipped us to walk in obedience and do His will.

Here’s the promise.

Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. – Hebrews 13:20-21

Make this confession

  • God has equipped me to walk in obedience today.
  • God called me and qualified me.
  • In Jesus Christ, I can handle anything that comes my way.
  • I walk in victory because God has equipped me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Thank God, He has equipped you. No matter what you are facing today, God has equipped you to handle it.

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that we can rejoice even when we are going through trying and difficult times.

Here’s the promise.

Consider it all joy, my brethren, when you encounter various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. – James 1:2-3

Makes these confessions:

  • In every trial, I can rejoice.
  • God uses every difficulty to strengthen and build my faith.
  • I don’t rejoice for the trial, but I can rejoice in the trial.
  • Every time my faith is tested, I grow stronger in my faith and endurance.

In Jesus name,
Amen

In every trial, you can rejoice. God is using every difficulty to strengthen your faith and make you like Jesus.

On Wednesday, we saw how God reveals His word to us. The Holy Spirit takes the Word of God and speaks to our heart.

Here’s the promise.

Behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. – Proverbs 1:23

Make these confessions.

  • I have the Holy Spirit in me today.
  • God is revealing His Word to me.
  • God’s Word is the guiding force in my life.
  • The Holy Spirit is moving God’s Word from my head to my heart.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The Word of God revealed and empowered by the Holy Spirit is a powerful force working in and through you.

Thursday brought a promise that God’s love is the one thing we can always count on.

Here’s the promise.

“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the Lord who has compassion on you. – Isaiah 54:10

Make these confessions.

  • God has a commitment love for me.
  • I can count on His love, no matter what happens in life.
  • Even when I am unfaithful, God’s love for me doesn’t change.
  • God’s love for me never changes, never fails, and never ends.

In Jesus name,
Amen

When God makes a promise, He keeps it. God’s love is the one thing you can always count on.  God’s love will never change, never fail, and never end.

We ended the week celebrating the promise that God seeks out our worship when we worship Him in spirit and truth.

Here’s the Promise.

But an hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshipers. – John 4:23

Make this declaration with me.

  • I worship God in spirit and truth.
  • I gratefully express my thanks and praise to Him.
  • My worship always begins in my heart.
  • God loves it when I worship him in honesty and with a pure heart.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Today, spend some time worshipping and thanking the Lord for all He has done in your life. Relax and focus on lifting your praise and thanksgiving from a genuine, thankful heart. That is the worship that pleases the Father.

Well, that’s it for the week. I know some of you are going through some tough times. If you need prayer, join us this Tuesday evening, May 12th, for our online prayer meeting. I have gathered a number of ministers and prayer warriors, and we want to pray for your need. Go to www.nationalprayerroom.com for the link and more information.

Thanks for being with me on The Daily Promise. I’ll be back on Monday with another promise from God’s Word. Until then, this is Billy Taylor. I pray you stay safe, walk in the love of Christ, and God’s richest blessings.
