Saturday Review
Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.
Monday – God’s Love for Me Never Changes
We began the week seeing how God’s love for us never changes. His love for us is not dependent on our actions. He loves us with a commitment love.
Here’s the promise.
“For the mountains may be removed and the hills may shake, but My lovingkindness will not be removed from you, and My covenant of peace will not be shaken,” says the Lord who has compassion on you. – Isaiah 54:10
Make these confessions.
- God has a commitment love for me.
- No matter what happens, I can count on His love.
- Even when I am unfaithful, God’s love for me doesn’t change.
- God’s love for me never changes, never fails, and never ends.
In Jesus name,

When everything falls apart, and you feel like everyone has deserted you, there is one thing you can count on; the love of God.
Tuesday – We Have Great and Precious Promises
On Tuesday, we learned that God has given us thousands of great and precious promise. As we learn to claim and walk in those promises, they will help mold us into the image of Christ.
Here’s the promise.
He has given us his very great and precious promises, so that through them you may participate in the divine nature and escape the corruption in the world caused by evil desires. – 2 Peter 1:4
Make these confessions.
- God has given me great and precious promises.
- His promises remind me of His work in my life.
- His promises keep me close to Him and away from the world.
- As I claim His promises, my faith grows.

God has given you so many incredible promises in His Word. His promises give you power for living and build your faith in Christ.
Wednesday – I Can Trust in the Lord
Midway through the week, we claimed the promise that when we put out complete trust in the Lord, we become like a tree planted by a stream. We don’t fear the stresses of the day, and even in difficult times, we continue to thrive.
Here’s the promise
Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord and whose trust is the Lord. “For he will be like a tree planted by the water, that extends its roots by a stream and will not fear when the heat comes; but its leaves will be green, and it will not be anxious in a year of drought nor cease to yield fruit. – Jeremiah 17:7-8
Make these confessions.
- I will trust in the Lord.
- No matter what I am going through, God will refresh and sustain me.
- When I face difficult days, I will stand firm.
- As I trust in the Lord, the fruit of the spirit grows in me.

We are all going through difficult times. As you trust in the Lord, God will sustain you and use you as an example of His goodness and care.
Thursday – God Promotes the Humble
On Thursday, we discovered that God’s economy is completely opposite to our thinking. If you want to be great in the Kingdom of God, you must humble yourself before the Lord.
Here’s the promise.
Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time. – 1 Peter 5:6
Make these confessions.
- God blesses and exalts those who humble themselves before Him.
- I will depend on God to promote and exalt me.
- Right now, I humble myself before God the Father.
- I won’t promote myself, but I will allow God to exalt me.
In Jesus name,
Amen
When you humble yourself before God, He will lift you up. He exalts the humble because they put their complete faith and trust in Him.
Friday – God Knows My Need Before I Ask
We finished up the week, seeing how God knows our needs even before we pray. We don’t have to pray long or sound spiritual for God to hear us.
Here’s the promise.
And when you pray, do not heap up empty phrases as the Gentiles do, for they think that they will be heard for their many words. Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him. – Matthew 6:7-8
Make these confessions.
- I pray simply and with a sincere heart.
- God knows my need before I even ask.
- As a loving Father, He wants to meet my needs.
- When I pray, I simply talk to my Heavenly Father.

Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated. Your prayers don’t have to be long or fancy. Besides, God already knows what you need before you even ask.
