Sin is No Longer Your Master
For sin shall not be master over you, for you are not under law but under grace.
Romans 6:14
Free From Sin’s Power
So many Christians live in a constant struggle with sin. They feel powerless to overcome sin. They don’t realize that Christ has set them free from the power of sin.
The good news of the Gospel is that sin no longer has control of your life. Jesus’s blood paid the price for your sin and broke the power of sin over you.
Before you came to Christ, sin was your master. You were in bondage to temptation and a slave to its call.
When you came to Christ, everything changed. Sin is no longer your master. God’s grace has set you free from the law of sin and death.
The law always leads to condemnation. You can never be “good enough” to please God through the law. The standard of the law is perfection, and none of us are perfect. So many Christians claim grace but still live under the law. They live in self-condemnation and shame. They forget the power of God’s grace in their lives.
Under Grace
Because of God’s grace, you have victory over sin. Through Christ, you now have complete freedom in Christ. The power of sin was broken on the cross.
The law was given to help control your old nature. Grace came along and replaced that old nature with a new nature. Your new nature is empowered and transformed by the Holy Spirit. Where your old nature was under the law, your new nature is under grace. Your new nature wants to please God and walk in fellowship with Him.
The Will and Power
The law demands obedience and reveals your sin. Grace provides the will and the power to live above sin in obedience and fellowship with Christ.
The goal of grace is not freedom to sin but freedom from sin. Grace gives you the power to live above sin. You may fall into sin, but by God’s grace, you leave it behind to walk in fellowship with Christ.
As a follower of Christ, don’t allow sin to control you; walk in the freedom and power grace provides.
Look at that promise again.

Under grace 🙏
Under grace.
Under grace in Christ Jesus🙏🙏❤️❤️😇😇
Sin’s allure no longer captivates me. God has set me free from the power of sin and death. Praise be to our God.
Under grace means God is more interested in my faith than my performance. I can never be good enough because the law requires absolute perfection nothing less. So then, grace is absolutely necessary! Praise God who never gives us permission to sin, but because of grace always gives us forgiveness for sin.
Under Grace!!! Jesus has set me free from the power of sin.
