For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority;
Complete in Christ
Because all the fullness of God dwelt in Christ, you now have the fullness of Christ dwelling in you. In Him, you are made complete.
When Adam turned his back on God in the garden, he became incomplete and empty. Throughout history, we humans have been trying to fill that emptiness in our hearts and lives. We are physically, morally, and spiritually incomplete.
When Jesus came, He changed everything. Since he had the fullness of God in Him, He imparted that fullness to you and me when we came to Him in faith. In 2 Peter 1:4, the Apostle Peter tells us that we are partakers in His divine nature. The very nature of God is filling you today.
You can face any temptation and every obstacle because you have the divine nature of Christ filling you.
Look at that promise again.
For in Him all the fullness of Deity dwells in bodily form, and in Him you have been made complete, and He is the head over all rule and authority; – Colossians 2:9-10
Make these confessions.
I have the fullness of Christ in me.
I have been made complete in Him.
I am a partaker in the divine nature of Christ.
I have all I need in Christ.
In Jesus’ Name,
As a Christian, you are complete in Christ. There is nothing more you need to experience all the fullness Christ has for you. Just as all the fullness of God dwelt in Christ, all the fullness of Christ dwells in you.
It’s hard to believe, but there are only about 6 weeks left in this year. As you begin planning your year-end giving, I hope you will include this ministry. In addition to sharing the promises of God throughout the world, every day marriages are strengthened as we help husbands and wives learn to pray for each other. We also encourage pastors and strengthen churches by mobilizing church members to pray for their pastors.
