Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – My Sin is Made White as Snow

We began the week seeing how our sin has been made white as snow. The stain and regret of sin have been cleansed and removed through the blood of Christ.

Here’s the promise.

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. – Isaiah 1:18

Make these confessions.
  • God invites me to bring my sin to Him.
  • God not only forgives my sin but makes my heart pure again.
  • As I come to God, I find cleansing of my sin.
  • No matter how dark my sin, God can make it as white as snow.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Instead of running from God when you sin, come to Him with your sin. He will forgive your sin and cleanse your heart.

Tuesday – Jesus is Always With Me

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that Jesus is always with us.

Wherever you are today, Jesus is with you. His Holy Spirit will comfort and guide you. His presence will strengthen and give you courage.

Here’s the promise.

Teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age. – Matthew 28:19-20

Make these confessions.
  • No matter where I go, Jesus is with me.
  • He empowers me to accomplish everything He commands.
  • His presence is with me and in me.
  • Through the Holy Spirit, He empowers, guides, and comforts me.
  • He will be with me until I see Him face to face.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you go through your day, remember, through the Holy Spirit, Jesus is with you. Rest in His presence, and trust His guidance.

Wednesday – My Spiritual Eyes Are Open

Midway through the week, we saw that when we came to Christ, God opened our spiritual eyes. Right now, God is opening your eyes to new spiritual truths.

Here’s the promise.

I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. – Ephesians 1:18-19

Make these confessions.
  • God is opening my eyes to the hope I have in Christ.
  • I am part of the inheritance of the saints.
  • God’s surpassing power is being poured out on me.
  • Every day God is opening my eyes to all He has for me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you grow in your walk with God, I pray He opens your spiritual eyes to a deeper understanding of who He is and how He is working in your life today.

Thursday – I Am Strong in the Power of Christ

On Thursday, we saw how God has called us to be strong. We understand that our strength is not in ourselves but Christ in us. With every command of God, He empowers and strengthens us to accomplish His will.

Here’s the promise.

Be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. – Ephesians 6:10

Make these confessions.
  • In Jesus Christ, I am strong.
  • I will not be defeated by any attack of Satan.
  • I am empowered as I draw upon the strength of the Lord.
  • God’s power in me gives victory over every enemy.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

In Christ, you are strong. You find strength as you draw on God’s power within you. It’s not a one-time thing, but a continual tapping into the power God provides every moment of every day.

Friday – My Citizenship is in Heaven

We ended the week celebrating our citizenship in heaven. For the Christian, death is not the end. We have the assurance of heaven when we die. The blood of Christ has sealed your citizenship in heaven.

Here’s the promise.

Our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ. – Philippians 3:20

Make these confessions.
  • Right now, I am a citizen of heaven.
  • I know that when I die, I will spend eternity in heaven.
  • I am no longer at home in this world.
  • I look forward to the return of Christ.
  • I live with my eyes on heaven knowing this world is not my home.

In Jesus name,
Amen

There is no fear of death when you know your citizenship in heaven has been sealed by the blood of Christ.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.
