Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – God’s Promises Never Fail

We began the week seeing how God’s promises never fail. Just like He kept every promise to the children of Israel, He will keep to you and me.

Here’s the promise.

Not one of the good promises which the Lord had made to the house of Israel failed; all came to pass. – Joshua 21:45

Make these confessions.
  • My God fulfills every promise.
  • By faith, I am holding onto every promise God has made.
  • All of God’s promises to me are good.
  • God will never fail to fulfill even the smallest promise made to me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

The God you serve is a promise-keeping God. What He has promised, He will do. Not one of His good promises will He fail to fulfill.

Tuesday – God’s Mercy Pours Over Me

On Tuesday, we were reminded that we can never be good enough for God. The good news is that His mercy has cleansed and renewed us by the Holy Spirit.

Here’s the promise.

He saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit. – Titus 3:5

Make these confessions.
  • I can never be good enough for God.
  • God’s mercy is poured out on me.
  • I don’t deserve God’s love, but because of His mercy, I am loved.
  • Through faith, I have been reborn in Christ.
  • Jesus is renewing my mind and my heart to be like Him.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

You can never be good enough for God. Thankfully, because of His mercy, He loves you. You are a new person in Christ. The Holy Spirit is renewing your heart and mind to be like Jesus.

Wednesday – I Invest in Eternity

Midway through the week, we learned that we choose where we invest our wealth. We can invest it here on earth or in eternity.

Here’s the promise.

Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal, but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. – Matthew 6:19-20

Make these confessions.
  • I invest my time, talent, and finances in the Kingdom of God.
  • I expect eternal rewards for my investment.
  • Earthly treasure will fade, but my heavenly treasures will last forever.
  • God uses my kingdom investments to minister and to bring others to Christ.
  • I am storing up heavenly treasure for all eternity.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

When you store up your treasure in the Kingdom of God, you know it will pay dividends throughout all eternity. Your investments in the Kingdom of God will always return a blessing and count toward your eternal reward.

Thursday – Jesus Keeps Me From Falling

On Thursday, we celebrated the promise that God is working in our lives to keep us from falling and present us to God the Father.

Here’s the promise.

To him who is able to keep you from falling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy. – Jude 24

Make these confessions.
  • Jesus is working in me to bring about his plan for my life.
  • Jesus keeps my salvation.
  • What I did not earn, I cannot lose.
  • Jesus’ blood has made me blameless before God.
  • Jesus rejoices in presenting me to God our Father.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Remember, Jesus is full of joy, knowing He will present you blameless to His Father.

Friday – My God Never Changes

We ended the week celebrating that our God never changes. In a world where constant change is the norm, God is our true foundation that does not change.

Here’s the promise.

For I am the LORD, I do not change. – Malachi 3:6

Make These Confessions.
  • My God never changes.
  • He is the same yesterday, today, and forever.
  • Since God never changes, His word will never change.
  • He will fulfill every promise He has made.
  • Even though the world is constantly changing, God is my stable foundation.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As you face a changing world today, remember, God never changes, and what He has promised, He will bring to pass.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.

Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
