Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – I Am a Fruitful Christian

We began the weeks seeing that as we make the Word of God our priority, we will be like a tree that produces fruit. Our fruit is spiritual fruit that the Holy Spirit produces in us.

Here’s the promise.

He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, Which yields its fruit in its season And its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. – Psalm 1:3

Make these confessions.
  • I am a fruitful Christian.
  • God is growing the fruit of the Spirit within me.
  • God is using me to multiply the Kingdom of God.
  • The fruit of my life are the changed lives of those around me.
  • I am producing spiritual fruit according to God’s schedule.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Spiritual fruit is an indication of your spiritual health. God promises that as you delight in His word, you will be fruitful.

Tuesday – I Am More Than a Conqueror

On Tuesday, we celebrated the fact that Christ has given us victory in every area of life. No matter what life may send our way, we have victory in Jesus.

Here’s the promise.

But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us. – Romans 8:37

Make these confessions.
  • In Jesus Christ, I have overwhelming victory.
  • I don’t fear death because Jesus conquered it.
  • I have victory over fear, worry, and temptation.
  • I overcome every attack of Satan because Christ is in me.
  • Jesus empowers and fills me with His Spirit.
  • Today, I am more than a conqueror.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Today, live in the overwhelming victory Jesus gives you.

Wednesday – I Have Divinely Empowered Weapons

Midway through the week, we were reminded that we are in the middle of a spiritual battle. Christ has given us spiritual weapons for the battle. These weapons are divinely powerful and bring victory over the enemy.

Here’s the promise.

For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but divinely powerful for the destruction of fortresses. – 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

Make these confessions.
  • A spiritual war is waging all around me.
  • Even though Satan will do everything He can to destroy me,
  • Jesus has given me spiritual weapons for the battle.
  • My weapons are divinely empowered.
  • I have victory over the enemy through the spiritual weapons Christ has given me.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

Don’t let the battle go unchecked. Instead, use the spiritual weapons God has given you. They are divinely empowered to wage war against the powers of darkness that come against you today.

Thursday – Jesus is Coming Back for Me

On Thursday, we claimed the promise that Jesus is returning for His people. Soon, we will meet Him face-to-face in the air.

Here’s the promise.

Then we who are alive and remain will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air, and so we shall always be with the Lord. – 1 Thessalonians 4:17

Make these confessions.
  • When Christ returns, I will meet Him in the air.
  • Jesus will set up His eternal kingdom here on earth.
  • I will spend all eternity with Him on a new earth.
  • I look forward to the day when He returns for me.
  • In Jesus Name,
    Amen

You can live with hope today, knowing that one day you will meet the Lord Jesus in the air to spend eternity with Him.

Friday – I am Heir to the Promise of God

We wrapped up the week, seeing how we are heirs to the promise of Christ.

When you placed your faith in Christ, you became a child of the great King of Kings. You were born into the royal family of God. God is your father, and you are an heir to all of His promises.

Here’s the promise.

And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s offspring, heirs according to promise. – Galatians 3:29

Make these confessions.
  • In Christ, I am born again into God’s family.
  • I am an heir of Christ.
  • As an heir of Christ, I have every promise of God.
  • My inheritance in Christ is based on nothing but faith in Him.

In Jesus Name,
Amen

As a child of God, you have a birthright, an inheritance. Through faith in Christ, you have been born again and made heir to all the promises of God.

That’s it for this week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Go back through these promises and allow God to renew your mind with these truths from His Word.

Share one of these promises with a friend or family member. Everyone can use an encouraging word from God’s Word.
