Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – I Have Everything I Need for Life and Godliness

We began the week seeing how God has given us everything we need to live the victorious Christian life.

Here’s the promise.

Seeing that His divine power has granted to us everything pertaining to life and godliness, through the true knowledge of Him who called us by His own glory and excellence. – 2 Peter 1:3

Make these confessions.
  • God is giving me everything I need for daily living.
  • I will not worry about tomorrow because God is my provision.
  • His divine power is working in me today.
  • I have everything I need to live the Christian life.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Through His supernatural power, Christ has given you everything you need to live the Christian life.

Tuesday – I Have the Joy of Jesus

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that Jesus has given us His joy. Our joy doesn’t depend on our circumstances but on the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.

Here’s the promise.

“I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.” – John 17:13

Make these confessions.
  • Jesus is prayed for me to receive His full measure of joy.
  • I have the joyful fruit of the Spirit growing in me.
  • No matter my situation, I have confidence God is working for my good.
  • Today, I receive all the joy Jesus prayed for me to receive.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The Christian life is a joy-filled life. Jesus walked in joy and invites you and me to live in the fulness of His joy.

Wednesday – I Have God’s Peace in Every Situation

Midway through the week, we celebrated the peace that Christ gives us.

Peace only comes when you live in complete dependence on Christ. Sure, you will face problems, you will experience difficulties, but you will know that God is in control.

Here’s the promise.

Now may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every circumstance. The Lord be with you all! – 2 Thessalonians 3:16

Make these confessions.
  • My Savior is the Lord of peace.
  • I have God’s peace in every situation.
  • As I submit my life to Christ, His peace flows through me.
  • I have peace because Jesus is with me.

In Jesus name,

Amen

Today, you can rest in peace because the Lord of peace is with you.

Thursday – I Don’t Worry – I Pray

On Thursday, we committed not to worry but to pray about everything.

You have a choice. You can worry or trust Christ. You trust Christ by bringing every worry and fear to Him in prayer.

Here’s the promise.

Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. – Philippians 4:6

Make these confessions.
  • I will not worry; I will pray.
  • Nothing is too small to pray about.
  • When I become anxious or fretful, I will pray.
  • I will pray about everything and worry about nothing.

In Jesus name,
Amen

When you pray about everything, you worry about nothing. When you pray about nothing, you worry about everything.

Friday – Christ is in Me

We finished the week with the promise that Christ lives in us.

Christ in you is more than just symbolic or metaphoric; When you gave your life to Christ in faith, Jesus literally took up residence in you. He lives His life through you.

Here’s the promise.

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. – Galatians 2:20

Make these confessions today.
  • I have Jesus dwelling in me.
  • Jesus leads me throughout my day.
  • I am a new person in Jesus Christ.
  • Wherever I go today, Jesus goes with me.

In Jesus name
Amen

You have Jesus living in you. You have been made new in Him, and wherever you go, He is there with you. He speaks to you and leads you throughout your day.

That’s it for this week’s review.

I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Take a few minutes to review these promises again. Allow God to strengthen your faith through the promises of His word.

Remember to share The Daily Promise with your friends and family. Thanks to all those who said they would share The Daily Promise with three people. With so many negative messages on our phones and in the news, we can all use a positive promise from God’s Word.
