Saturday Review

Saturday is review day on The Daily Promise. Every Saturday, we review the promises we learned during the week so we can allow them to go deep into our hearts.

Monday – I Am Strong and Courageous

We began the week claiming the promise of strength and courage. Everything God commands, he empowers us to do. God is giving you strength and courage.

Here’s the promise.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.” – Joshua 1:9

Make these confessions.

  • I am strong and courageous.
  • I will not fear, for God is with me.
  • I walk according to the Word of God.
  • No enemy can stand before me, for God is fighting for me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

As you face your greatest challenge or your strongest enemy, remember, God is with you.

Tuesday – Jesus is My Strong Tower

On Tuesday, we claimed the promise that Jesus has given us His joy. Our joy doesn’t depend on our circumstances but on the Holy Spirit dwelling within us.

Here’s the promise.

“I am coming to you now, but I say these things while I am still in the world, so that they may have the full measure of my joy within them.” – John 17:13

Make these confessions.
  • Jesus is prayed for me to receive His full measure of joy.
  • I have the joyful fruit of the Spirit growing in me.
  • No matter my situation, I have confidence God is working for my good.
  • Today, I receive all the joy Jesus prayed for me to receive.

In Jesus name,
Amen

The Christian life is a joy-filled life. Jesus walked in joy and invites you and me to live in the fulness of His joy.

Wednesday – You Are the Lord’s

Midway through the week, God reminded us that no matter what happens, we are the Lord’s.

Here’s the promise.

For if we live, we live for the Lord, or if we die, we die for the Lord; therefore whether we live or die, we are the Lord’s. – Romans 14:8

Makes these confessions.

  • I am the Lord’s.
  • Whether I live or die, I am still the Lord’s.
  • He has made me His child and will take care of me now and in the future.
  • Praise God for His grace and love that is poured out on me.

In Jesus name,
Amen

On your worst day or your best day, you are still the Lord’s, and God always takes care of His children.

Thursday – Trust Me to Carry Your Burdens

On Thursday, we saw how we can throw all our burdens and cares on the Lord.

Here’s the promise.

Cast your burden upon the Lord and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. – Psalm 55:22

Make these confessions.

  • Right now, I throw all my burdens on the Lord.
  • I confess that He is my security, strength, and comfort.
  • He will never leave me or forsake me.
  • He will keep me on solid ground no matter what life throws my way.

In Jesus name,
Amen

Every day you have a choice, you can carry your burdens, or you can throw them into the Lord’s hands.

Friday – I Have Incredible Love For You

As we ended the week, we were reminded that God’s love for us is beyond our understanding.

Here’s the promise.

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His faithful love toward those who fear Him. – Psalm 103:11

Make these confessions.

  • God’s love for me is beyond my understanding.
  • His commitment love for me is never-ending and will never fail.
  • God is pouring out His love, grace, mercy, and compassion on me.
  • I can rest in His unfathomable love for me today.

In Jesus name,
Amen

In these difficult times, God is pouring his incredible, commitment love on you today.

That’s it for this week’s review.

That’s it for the week. I hope these promises have been a blessing to you. Take a moment and go back through them so God can take them deep into your heart.

Let me remind you to tell 3 friends about The Daily Promise. While you are at church tomorrow, encourage 3 friends to list to The Daily Promise. Share the wonderful promises of God with those around you. These days, we can all use some encouragement.
